I've used lots of different ones from Dior, Lancôme, Estée Lauder, Avon, YSl etc but the best by far is Olay Total Effects! Worth every cent.

I have sensitive skin and like you Bunny2 I have tried numerous ones over the years. The best one is Olay Total Effects and I was lucky enough to get a couple of free samples which made trying it a little easier on the pocket. :)

Sometimes these bonuses that we get really make the day, don't they Bunny. And the best thing of all is that there is now a Priceline in the town where I do most of my shopping. LOL

Yeah, as you're in Australia, once a year Priceline have a hand in an empty bottle and they give you a free Olay Total Effects. Love that!

properties do not have to expend a lot of money to moisturise your face. Clean you face every night before go to bed, use a cream under eyes , and then a moisturizer. St. Ives, is not to expensive but are very good. I use them and i recommend them. Otherwise, a healthy skin is not only with you do outside, inside is very or most important than outside. You can have collagen (liquid) take one table spoon two or three hours before go to bed. in one week you will note the difference. Check you Internet for more information about the es of Collagen.

Thanks for that information! I didn't realize you culd buy collagen powder. Must search it out. I'm blessed with very good skin but noticing the changes as I get older. I drink a lot of water and aI htink that's actually one of the most important things you can do for your skin.

I've heard of Origins but don't know a lot about them. Is it over the counter or strictly online?

You can buy it in department stores, I get mine from Dillard's. They let me try a whole bunch of things out there before making up my mind. They have a real focus on using natural ingredients, which I like. The products I've bought from them have lasted a really long time, and I use these every day, so I've been pleased with that too. http://www.origins.com/

Vaseline Intensive just plain old one. I sometime will add some perfume to a bottle so I can enjoy scent while still getting the true benefit of the moisturiser.

You mean the hand cream? My mother in law does that but I prefer somehting formulated for the face.

I believe that the face is more delicate than, say, your hands. The muscle beneath the skin is different and therefore the moisturising needs are different too. So many body or hand lotions are too thick and greasy for my face, and my face creams would be too light for my hands.

What do you use for the face? Why not use one all over moisturizer? So many of them are full of additives and perfumes anyway

The best moisturizers I've used are with AVON, and of course oil of olay. I used oil of olay since I was little, I'd sneak some from my mom...hehehe..I love AVOn skin products. Probably because I was a rep. I just closed my business.

I agree that Avon products are great. But I hate having to wait for the products after ordering, If I want it, I want it now. LOL. Sorry about the business. Maybe you'll find something else.

Anew from Avon is really good. Olay is okay, not good with my oily skin. I'm really loving Ponds Age Miracle Cream right now even if I don't have wrinkles yet. Because it has Vit.C and that new CLA technology. You can really see the difference in your skin after 2 weeks of use.

Ponds was my favourite when I was younger and had oily skin. They made one that actually stopped my skin from being oily. Ponds is no longer available in Australia, which is a shame. They ha some good quality products.

I love Clarins - it's a gel type moisturiser that I use and I love the feel of it on my skin. I have also used Roc and Clinique.

That's interesting - I find gels don't work well on me. They'r enot greasy as such but they feel weird. Roc is not available in Australia so might have to try it :)

Brownes Coffee Chill - Brownes Coffee Chill, strong, preculated coffee.
Johnson & Johnsons Aveeno Daily Moisturising Lotion. This is by far the best product Ive come across. I only found out about it 3 months ago when a pharmacist advised I give it a go. Although it said relieves and protects dry skin, moisturises for 24 hours, frangrance free, this I didnt believe but at $14.95 for a large pump bottle (354ml) I thought Id give it a go. Im not turning back. I work and live on a farm, so riding on motor bikes and being in the dust/dirt all day made my hands and face look like a 150y/o would have, honestly they were shocking. They now my hands look like they are 21 again, unfortunately I still have a 34 y/o face. Give it a go, I do recommend this to hard hand users. I tried the Aveeno skin relief moisturising lotion, this I didnt like, its got menthol in it, and it burns sunburnt or sensitive faces.

Other people have raved about Aveeno, and I've seen it at Priceline, so it will be next on my *to try* list. If my hands can look better, It'll be worth it. My face isn't too bad for my age - but alas, I'm nowhere near 34. Thanks for replying.

Since I used to sell Avon, I'm kinda hooked on their products. They are affordable and very good quality. Usually I use their Force extra in the summer and Ultimate in the winter because it's thicker. My skin can't handle that in the summer. Aloha!
