Brazil and Argentina`s tragic loss

Again, we were surprised by Brazil and Argentina, it`s about how they lost.Brazil got panic after Melo`s own goal, and got even more frustrated after Holland led 2-1 then Mello was sent off, Argentina was shocked and panic after Germany scored a goal 3 minutes after the kick-off, and even Argentina got even worse, it seems they couldn`t do anything to stop Germany`s attack (Klose, Mueller and also David Villa will be top scorers, I think). People are debating that jogo bonito whatsoever about how to play beautifully on the pitch is not a priority, the priority is to WIN how to play more effectively. Argentina tried to attack and attack, show the beauty of football, but their defense was a crap too.Brazil was unlucky, I think. How do you think of those matches?

I don't think I'd call Argentina unlucky because they were simply outplayed by Germany the other day.In fact I thought that even England played better than Argentina when Germany beat them 4-1.Diego Maradona is highly overrated as a coach and he is more passion and less tact.I think the Argentina team would have performed the same way even in the absence of a coach. As far as Brazil is concerned,I'd just say that it perhaps wasn't their day and of course Holland have been playing well too.

Two of the favorites of this tournament Brazil and Argentina loss unexpectedly against Holland and Germany. I think those two South American teams didn't deserve to qualify because their opponents were superior.

Being a supporter of Brazil I want to thank Netherlands for their performance against Brazil. Netherlands never lost their faith. But Brazil lost their temperamen and confidence. It is the reality. The players of Brazil lost their confidence. This same for Argentina.

well about brazil match i think holland played better than brazil. maybe brazil thought they would win and didnt effort muchy and about argentina i wasnt expecting they lost at all. when my country didnt win, portugal, i really thought argentina would be the champion. im sad that my country didnt win bcs portugal has great players and was unfair we didnt win bcs we play very very well. also im sad that argentina is out too if my country didnt win i wanted argentina to win.

Not much for Argentina to me, but I was so sad that Brazil went home. Now I was moved on how Argentina fought until the end, they just didn't give up! Kept running, shooting, it was amazing and by the second goal I started to feel sorry for them.

What surprises me most is how the Argentine lost to the Germans with such devastation. I can't believe how is was destructive and demoralizing without scoring a single point. Although I would say that Germany is flawless in their execution of game plan but being down 4-0 is just too much to take and hard to realize considering what kind of team the Argentina is. I can stand 2-0 but 4-0 is so horrible to imagine.

It was really shocking to see Brazil getting out of the race. Brazil disappointed a lot of their fans all over the world. Atleast they deserve to be in semis. And then Argentina too played badly and lost without scoring a single goal against the 4 goals of Germany. So it was really shocking. Argentina was one of my favorite team.

It was an off-day for both teams. Brazil and Argentina were caught surprise. That surprise leads to the teams' own destruction. Both of them were all heralded as top teams in the sport of football. But we have to give the credit back to the Germans and Netherlands who played with not only luck but also they were impressive.

I thought that both Brazil and Argentina just did not perform on the day. Brazil seemed to be cruising when they went 1 - 0 up but looked a completely different team in the second half. I think that the second goal for Germany killed off their game against Argentina who never looked like scoring after that.

Simply, germany outnumbered argentina and holland's determination was their success. Germans came with a beautiful gameplan and implimented it beautifully........with some luck while argentina had no game plan. They tried to play a game of individual attacks and brazil tried to play european style. That's why i think both teams lost.............
