Thanks for this discussion, yes it is common in leather shoes, the sweat is absorbed this cause smell, better to use shoe that is open in front.

For me its when the season become cold that I experience smelly feet, as my feet sweets during colder days (in my country its the Ber months starting from October where colder winds blow) so i have the opposite situation. But it rarely occurs now, I usually have a smell free foot all year out.

Hi, llbo1981. It takes a very long time for my feet to get smelly during the summer. If I have to be wearing the same shoes everyday for long periods of time. This is how they can get stinky. If I am only wearing my shoes without socks or thin socks. That is how my feet can get smelly during the summer. I remember last summer, my feet did not get that smelly, and I wore the same shoes over and over again. I did let my feet breathe, that is why my feet hardly smelled.

I havnt come across this. I have been in a place where the temperature is 50 degress and we cant wear a pair of socks for more than a day. If worn more than a day it smells...infact stinks. But not my shoes. I havnt experiences that with my shoes.

I'm a heavy sweater which leads to wet stinky shoes especially in the summer. Hot weather means sweat, and sweat means wet and smelly shoes. Really, really wet and smelly.
But luckily i found a way, since i 'v started using Stuffitts, my shoes dry out faster and smell a lot better.^^

Certainly our shoes would become smelly in summer on account of this
Happy posting
