Do youy shower less in winter?

Australia

It is winter here in Australia and the days get darker earlier and all you want to do is dress in your pyjamas and curl up in bed with a book or movie. I personally can never go to bed without showering but I'm wondering if any of you shower less in winter? Perhaps instead of two showers a day you cut down to one? What are your showering habits in winter?

I supposed I do shower less in winter. I'm usually more inclined to take a hot bath when I can in winter to warm the core of ones body up as it can get quite cold here in winter.

No i dont shower less in winters. I dont take a shower at night but in the moring. I feel that a shower is needed to keep oneself fresh and clean. In summers i do take shower twice a day as the climatic conditions demand so to free my body from any odour due to sweting.

Hi, coffeeshot. I shower just about the same amount as I would in the summer. It is very hot right now. Being that I am always in the cooler climate, I normally just take my regular showers. When it is cold, I love having a couple of showers just to warm my body up from the chilling air.

No I always take a shower in the morning and when I get home whatever season it is. I can't sleep unless I have a shower at all. Have a good day!!

Hi Coffeeshot, We don't have winter in my country but the rainy season can bring the water into a temperature that's really cold that makes it difficult to shower. But it doesn't stop me from taking the shower either in the morning before going to work or anywhere else, or at night in time for bed. If the water is unbearably cold I take a bath with warm water.

Yeah, here on the Gold Coast at the moment I only shower once a day which is usually in the morning sometime. In the summer here it gets quite humid and sweaty so I usually shower twice a day then, sometimes three times a day if I need to. When I used to work in a Panel Beating job I would shower twice per day regardless of the season. At the moment I am working out each day so I sometimes wait to shower until after I have done that workout, other times I shower first thing in the morning to help me wake up and feel fresher.

I always shower atleast once a day. Sometimes in the summer I will take a second shower if I am sweaty or stinky.... So I guess I may shower a little less in the winter!

I've never showered twice a day unless bird poop has landed on my head. And sadly, that has happened to me before. It taught me not to park under a bunch of trees, I can assure you that! But I don't really think I'd ever thought about that - showering less in winter. I don't know if I shower less in winter than in summer, but I do wash my hair less in winter. My hair is not on the oily side, so I don't have to wash it every day like my sister. In winter, my hair is more on the dry side.

Hello coffeeshot. It is right now hot summer in the north hemisphere. I take quite a few showers a day when I feel sweaty and hot. In winter I almost take a shower every day, but compared with summer, I take many more showers a day than I do in winter. A shower makes me feel good. Stay warm, coffeeshot.

I do shower less because of the dry air, it dries out my skin and hair really bad and at this time I don't have a job where I work up a sweat or get dirty...Though I do daily wash my face and hands and brush my teeth, but for a full shower, no, not every day..

It sounds funny to me to hear that you are having winter in Australia while we are having summer in the U.S. The world just amazes me at how different each area is. As for showering in the winter, I guess I probably shower a little less since I'm not really sweating as much. Plus I'm not wearing shorts in the winter so I don't have to shave my legs every day like in the summer.

Hey coffeeshot! Right now we're experiencing a horrendous summertime in NY! We've already had 3 straight days of over 100 degree temperatures. I wish I could stay in my cool shower all day! I take a shower before I go out and then another in the evening. In the wintertime my apartment is very cold and there are times that I take a shower before leaving the house for the day and depending on how cold it is in the evening I will try to take a nice hot hot shower. But, there are times when it is too unbearable to get out of a nice hot shower and back into the freezing cold air so some nights I will skip my evening shower which I don't like to do!
