Any goal you reach, no matter what, is wonderful. I live alone and I have to put goals in my life to make my life worthwhile. That way I can feel proud (as I was about a week ago) when my potted parsley finally came out in spite of the cold . It is Winter here but I coaxed it to show me its beauty.
There was a cold spell just after I planted the seeds. And even if my terrace where I placed the pot is sunny, the sun was bitter cold and every morning the grass was white with frost. So I said to myself that maybe I´d had to plant more seeds later on but it´s saddening anyway. So I checked, kept it watered and took out some thin weeks that were also struggling to live. Finally the came out. Last week I thought it was them but wasn´t so sure. Now I can see the second leves, definitly parsley. I won´t pinch them to smell it as I do in Spring. These sons of Winter are too precious.
Do you have a love story with plants of your own? Share.

I suppose cats do that because, as I say, they are absolutly wild.

Hi marguicha, It is nice to read about all the effort you put in for your plant to give out its best.I too love plants and I feel proud and pat my back when I have successfully saved a cactus or an african violet from the onslaughter of monsoon rains...Last year I lost almost all my african violets, but managed to save three with just a single leaf remaining from each of the plants. Now I have got many plants from that and feel happy when i see them in full bloom...all the best and happy mylotting
