What should government do in Kashmir now? Now the reality on the TV of the separatists in Kashmir. They don’t want any thing good. They are organising the people to throw the stones on force. And when the force react it is called that force is becoming brutel and they must be vanished from there. And they are indirectly supporting the terrorist in the vally. In my view all the separatist must be brought under the law and court and must be filed a case against them for the Treason.

We need to admit the mistakes of Mrs. Gandhi, which is the cause of this incitement! We must also admit that some of the people from our armed forces may have crossed boundaries. Unless we admit that there cannot be anyway dialogue will start with separatist. The problem may well continue into another century. The Jews and Germans travel to each other's nations despite the holocaust history, but Indians and Pakistanis keep at each other's throats because of politicians. Think of it like this, somebody wrongs you but refuses to say sorry, would you be inclined to forgive that person? No! We wronged Pakistan by interfering with Bangla Desh issue! We went so bad as repeating the same mistake with Srilanka. Luckily, the issues are resolved. There were internal political compulsions that prompted Indira Gandhi to do what she did. You cant interfere with another nation's sanctity to divert the mind of your people from the actual issue! That is not what democracy is all about! She was facing an imminent defeat in elections because of which she resorted to that move, which has neither helped East Pakistan or West Pakistan, leave alone India. People should learn how to mind their own business.

You are correct but why always we are pointed out. And why we should think that those countable separatist are the voice of all Kashmiris. I think there is a need to be a tight a bit. Every thing is fine and every demand is fine for a country except the demands for a different nation. Because when there is a demand of different nation, It means those people are not loving their country and why then a country must keep them to talk and decide the future of other citizens. I think it is better for them to talk on problems of Kashmir, they have got some special rights , some of their own laws if the army is there. In the whole country if any riots occur army comes, but what to do if this is the daily situation. We cant take this lightly. We have taken so we are suffering.

East Pakistan and West Pakistan were one nation when Mrs. Gandhi chose to do what she did! So she supported a nation breaking down, Pakistan is doing the same! What more we repeated the same thing in Sri Lanka!!! We wanted Tamils there to have a separate state, remember? Now, we cant make others antagonistic towards us, and expect everything to die down!!! That is so wrong!!! Our politicians are opportunists. They dont think of the nation or our neighbors. They are only concerned about winning the next election! Lack of foresight has brought this on us and unless we apologize to Pakistan for what we did, this thing is not going to die!

Why not let Kashmir have a referendum and vote what they themselves want to to do? Shouldn't it be up to the people of Kashmir whether or not they want to belong to India be an independent nation? Let the people decide. A nation that holds a state against it's will is not a democratic republic, it is an empire.

you are right but there are separatist who provoke them to do. They pay them to throw stones on forces. And when force reacts they ask about the brutality. And even in US or other country some people demands other country. But what about citizens. I think a country can provide the facilities but how should we accept the demand to split the country.
