With the exception of Fox News the media leans heavily towards the left/Democrats. CNN though is by no means the worst. They do have people that make an effort to be fair. MSNBC is the one that's just a dishonest left wing media outlet. They'll use doctored videos and just lie through their teeth to push their agenda. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gbSUMaC2gJY

I'm not an MSNBC fan, but they lie and use deceiving videos FAR less than Fox News does.

I'm not saying lies have never been told on Fox News, one only has to watch an episode of Hannity to see that happen. But I have yet to see Fox News actively doctor a video like that to blatantly lie to their audience. I've seen it done on MSNBC by both Olbermann and Brewer and I hardly ever even watch their shows.

Hello Taskr36 I am not familiar with MSNBC but we do have that channel and rarely watches it. I am more of a CNN viewer but sometimes i watch other channels like BBC but i haven't watch Fox although i see them in star movie commercials.

MSNBC is definitely the worst as far as which side they are on. It has just become more evident since President Obama's election.

Yeah, I've even seen CNN anchors like Campbell Brown rip MSNBC for their left wing bias.

Fox is the most Republican slanted total news station. CNN could be considered Democratic but they do a better job of being more even on their stories. They try to have both sides by having both views and "expert" commentators for both sides.

In my opinion Fox News is like a mouthpiece of the Republican party but I don't see CNN as being Democratic. They have some more liberal hosts and commentators as well as some who are more conservative. MSNBC does lean more to the left but I think they're much more balanced than Fox and the hosts that are blatantly liberal don't try to pass themselves off as "fair and balanced". It sure isn't like it was when I was growing up, when you just had the evening news on the "big three" where the anchors and other reporters just read the news and kept any opinions they may have to themselves for the most part. Now we have three major 24/7 news networks which carry politics more than anything else so obviously what we get is about 85% opinion. That's fine as long as viewers are aware that they're hearing someone's opinion and not "just the facts". Annie

Hello Annie, Back in the 90's too. the competition between networks wasn't that much one networks is at his best compare to the other. but all changed when the tele novel of the rival network begins to rice. I can't really judge fox because i rarely watch that news. Rare i mean once in a 5 months or a year. but i see them promoting their network in movie channels

LetranKnight25, I suppose that will be what freedom of the press is all about and that people will deem this as being fair game. As CNN and BBC are the basic cable news available in most countries I travel, I just do not have much choice but if I have a choice, I usually would tune into BBC most of the time.

Hello Sky, but knowing they take sides, i don't think it's news to me. i rarely watch BBC but it's a nice channel too.

Nothing can be predicted in the politics..It goes on as it should be..It lies in the hands of only some big people and they rule as they like..
