Paypal verification

I was finally able to add my virtual Visa epassporte card to paypal. Now just to get it verified. Paypal said: "in 2-3 days, check your credit card statement for the charge from paypal with a 4-digit code next to it."
So how do I get this statement? Epassporte isn't linked to any bank. Will I a message or something? Hope they won't be sending anything to my home address because I won't be there until the end of summer.

They will make a transaction to the Visa you linked. They will give you a free $1-$2 to your Visa followed by a PIN number. Then you have to anylize this transaction, get the PIN and insert it at PayPal.com

So they're going to send me the money they took from my account back. But on epassporte I usually see only who send me the money and no other transactional details. There's nothing more
Also what happens to my paypal account if I'm unable to verify credit card?

You have up to 3 or 5 attempts (3 I guess)...
You have to go to your bank and want the list of transaction number. //better if you have internet banking feature to check it via internet.
1st add your card and wait around 5 days.
2nd go to your bank and want a list of transactions made.
3rd check for a transaction after the 2euro transaction to paypal (or 1.5euro) and you will see transaction with something in its number like "**Paypal - exposure ** XXXXXXX" and here the XXXXXXXX letters are these you will have to fill in your paypal, so your 1.5 euro (or 2) will be back in your account (after like ~48 hours) and you will be able to cash out your money to your card :)

Here in Greece it was a 4 digit pin! The money they send you are a gift by the way. You can keep them :P
Nothing happens to your paypal account. It will be there until you verify it. But you have to verify it in order to log in and see the transactions etc. You can still get money, but you can't see the money.

You need to go to the bank and ask for the number, it should be like _ _ _ _ PAYPAL, then you add this number to your paypal account and you are done! You will get 1.5 euro bonus too!! :D

I know. I found the transaction details on virtual visa account and there was the 4 digit number

hi bionicman,
neither i submit my passport nor my credit/debit card for transferring the amount of my paypal account,i too have more than 80 dollars in my paypal account,but one day my younger asked me some us dollars in paypal account,so i have told my paypal email id with password to his to transfer the same for his use,then he paid the equal amount of that in Indian Currency tome,have a nice day

I think you can see this 4 digit code after accessing your account on epassporte or by asking epassporte to send you statements of your account. There you will find the 4 digit code you need to verify your PayPal account. Good luck.

When I first got my debit card verified, paypal charged me $1 which they returned to my account after I've entered 4-digit code to my paypal account. I think they do this is to make sure that you're the owner of the credit card.
Do you get a statement for your epassporte Visa card? Perhaps you can check the transaction online? On that statement you can find the 4-digit code along with the transaction from paypal. You just need to enter that code to your paypal account and you're verified.
But if you don't get verified, it will not affect your paypal account in any way. It's just that you'll have a limit placed on you when you want to pay for anything using your paypal account.

i do know is they will contact you admin of the bank and will get it from paypal as well but i realy dont know about it because i verived for 7 digit number of bank account for it , if i wrong i relly sorry my freind .
