Just when I thought things had settled down...

This is another chapter in the friggen sewing machine saga. I wish that I had NEVER borrowed the darned thing.
I went through the court appearance. I agreed to buy the sewing machine for three hundred dollars, I paid the three hundred dollars and have suffered from the Jack A$$ spouting to everyone that he won the law suit. Which if he didn't have his head up his A$$ he would realize he won NOTHING!!! He was suing me for $4000 for a sewing machine that I didn't steal. He didn't get the $4000. When they blew up, I offered them $800 for the sewing machine, which they refused as they were sure they would get the $4000 for the machine. I ended up buying it for $300. UHHH can you spell losers? It isn't stated in the paperwork that I did steal the sewing machine (which I assure you I didn't)and that the $300 was for the purchase of the sewing machine that was really that couples machine.
He wasn't happy with just getting money, he has been working at getting me thrown out of my home. I own my home, pay my home owners dues, and I don't run around the neighborhood causing trouble. I am too busy in my home doing my arts and crafts, keeping up with my critters, and studying my college courses. I don't bother other people and help out where I can. This A$$hole has gone to the home owners board twice now trying to get me removed from my home. The first time they allowed him to talk, then removed him from the meeting. This time they told him that it wasn't their business and told him to leave. He left in a snit and is now calling the neighborhood home owner by home owner and telling them his tale of woe. There are 86 homeowners so he will be busy for awhile. The thing is, I am getting tired of the upset and the harassment. I'm hoping that one or more of the homeowners will be willing to testify in court and I am going to pound his stupid fanny into the ground and clear out his bank accounts.
I am wondering how many of you would stand for the stress, slander, harassment, and lies coming from this pair? I don't really care about the money from a lawsuit, I just want these psycho people off my back.

Hi Loverbear~ I am so sorry to hear that this ridiculous case
is still going on! It is obvious that this couple has nothing
better to do and they are old and pathetic and just want to
cause you problems for no apparent reason! I, unfortunately
have a "neighbor from hell" too! She is purposely noisy,
plays piano on the second floor (and she plays really badly),
is a w h o r e and has been "carrying on" for the 30 years
I've lived here. Four neighbors that lived below her have
moved and told the various Landlords that they were moving because
of this beotch, but the Landlord says they can't find a reason
to throw her nasty azz out even though she disturbs people on
purpose! I have had "issues" with her and she is afraid of me
and needs to be! I have never spoken to her face to face in
all the years I've lived here and she's lucky I haven"t slapped
the crap out her because she is an obnoxious psycho and nobody
in the neighborhood can stand or even talks to her! So there
is always "one" in every neighborhood!

I agree, I would stand up with you and I would support you if you sued them back...
In fact, I would make the suit to say, that either they can stop slandering your name and publicly apologize to each of your neighbors and in print of the local paper or they can pay your $100,000 for defamation of character...

It would be wonderful to have you by my side during the suit. Plus it would be so great to see you in person. After all, cat lovers are the greatest.
I told Bill a little bit ago that if the couple want me out of the neighborhood so badly they can buy me out. The price is $1,504,380.00! The $4,380 is what they wanted for the sewing machine, then the $380 is what I paid for the sewing machine. We both have had our fill of the upset and crap that the couple keep pulling.
In all honesty, I would rather have the cash. I plan that if it comes to a legal battle and I win, part of the money would go for a big party for the neighborhood. That would be the icing on the cake for the couple. 
Bill just confessed that he is emotionally spent too, we mistakenly figured that everything had settled down and the couple was finally getting on with their lives...yeah right. I'll keep you all posted on the progress of things.

I am not sure what I would do in your case. I guess I would just hope that someone would put them in a nursing home. In fact, I would probably collect data and try to see if I could get some kind of a competency hearing. He is a danger to others (you, the neighbors) and needs some mental health help.

Sounds like the guy is craving attention and this is how he gets it..Unfortunately you are the target..I hope your neighbors are wise to this and just ignore him or tell him that they don't want to hear it..With no one to listen to his rants, he may pick another subject to groan about..

When our neighbor informed me of what the idiot was doing, I stated to Bill that the only thing that the couple has on their mind is their hair!
I have been so darned busy with getting things sorted and cleaned in the house, stripping and finishing a couple of pieces of furniture, and suffering with a horrible pain in my neck (other than the neighbors) I haven't even thought about dealing with the couple.
I worry when he runs out of things to rant about and people to rant to, then he starts making things up and will try to plant things in and around my home to make it look like I am busily stealing from them. They are very nasty revengeful people. I now know why their son moved to Missouri and stayed there. They managed to break up their son's marriage too. I also have a feeling that they hauled out the cat that had been living at their house, as it had belonged to me first. They go out of their way to find ways to get even with people that they think have wronged them.
As I warned the neighbor that told me about the couple calling the other neighbors...I am within a hair of finding an attorney and filing a lawsuit for harassment and slander. That will give them a ton to talk about! Right now it's a case of my calming down and thinking rationally about the idiots.
Well, I am going to get off my duff and go back outside and work on the bookcase that I am stripping.
