Hello lotters
It became clear to me that not only Filipinos have so many political and ideology differences from one another but we also have different languages and history from each provinces.
we already have NGO, civil societies, groups and others that are well concern for the poor. bayanihan concept is also everywhere. but the trouble is that only at the pessimist point of trouble where we start helping each other, while during peace times we are at against each other.
Yeah, we can brag and shout about Unity on social networking sites and blogs and yet we grudgingly hate our neighbor or some one who have hurt us, so what's the point of asking for unity.
I hope one day we find a real way to settle our own difference and start changing for the better. I don't really see it now, what i see is deterioration in General Areas, in terms of principle, views, attitudes, and other habits. hell, some are lazy enough to use trash can as a basketball court.
because if we don't really find that Niche for Unity, our next generation is doomed for complete fall out division, making US vulnerable to future aggressive countries.

i am still proud to say that no matter what our differences in times of trouble we are still united. Filipinos are still moving as one in case of emergency. it reminded me of the past ondoy that everyone was with helping hands even they dont even know how to save themselves. i guess differences is not bad. we all have our own perceptions of things and we have also have our own views. some are very vocal about it and they makes sure that the people who needs to hear it hears it. i just hope that the new administration of our country will listen more, the past was more on listening what her inner voice will say. har har har

I think we should bring back the values that were practiced by Filipinos before that are already dying now. We have many good values but they are dying now. People don't respect others now. Children don't use "po" and "opo" anymore. They don't bless or "mano" anymore. I think raising the new generation to a world with appreciation and values will help us get the real unity that we want.

It all starts in you. If you make it a point to follow the simplest of rules then it will rub on to the next person who witnessed your deed. Unity happens even without words. So if one person was moved because of your actions then that will spark unity.

letran hi thats sad that all your people get divided like that.
reminds me of the split in my own country over our new President
Obama some of us are for him as we voted for him and for a change, well others call him all sorts of horrid names, and even here in mylot where
most Americans seem intelligent peace loving people, mention obama and everyone is at each others throats. I meanthis is silly, we are all Americans and all wanting the same things for our families and loved
ones so why the damnable fighting. Why cannot all Americans just support our president no matter who the hell he is as he is our leader? Why fight with each other? I hope maybe your country can finally pull together. You
are so right if all of you united for one solitary cause you would truly
be a great force. good luck God bless.
