Lactose intolerance

I am sensitive to Dairy products. Is there any home remedies known to work on lactose intolerance? Or another way I could enjoy Dairy products?

I too am lactose intolerant and i have switched to lactose free milk and milk free ice cream, to me they don't taste much different then the real deal. I also know there are pills you can take to help combat the effects of dairy but i am not too sure what they are called.
