Climbing rope

Let me warn you. This is just a silly question. I was watching television and noticed the character were in high school gym and had to climb a rope. I've seen this before on televison. I've never had to do it or seen anyone do it person. Have you ever had to climb a rope? If so, were you able to do it or was it too hard?

hi there.i haven't tried it yet.but i guess if i did,it's only ropes which are tied to a tree or wood which i can climb easier.and it's like not that high enough.i want to try those like the rappelling or the rock/wall climbing which have ropes tied on your body for protection,i really loved to experience it.i just hope one day,i would have done it!
