Will the world economy fall on fear of 2013 world ending story ?

There are enough scientific explanations going on predicting the world ending story around 2012 end or in 2013 and many people do believe this, but there are also facts showing proof that this may not happen so soon.But with all these stories going on, will the world economy fall during those times? there are heavy chances of some of the major investors pulling out their money from the market and this might result in market collapse all over the world resulting in another economy crash all over the world.Would you believe this to happen? will the economy fall within 2 years from now on? what are your views on this?

I have to admit that this whole 2012 thing sounds a lot like the Y2K freakout a few years ago. While I do believe that these are the last days, I do not believe that anyone can say for sure exactly when it will happen. It is written that no man knoweth the time of the end but God, himself. We should not waste time trying to guess and instead concentrate on dedicating ourselves to Him. Remember the parable of the ten virgins?
