She has not told anyone of her up coming surgery. I know she is worried about it as she had a bad experience once while having surgery. She knew erything going on, she came too and She could not breath and could not let them know. She told them after and they said yes she stopped breathing but they fixed it. She has a problem with multiple cysts. Please everyone say a prayer for our "Dazzlebox" also known as Shelly. Offer her some kind and comforting words to ease her mind. Her surgery is the end of the month. Do you know someone that had problems during surgery?

Glory be to Thee, O Lord my God! I beg of Thee by Thy Name through which He Who is Thy Beauty hath been stablished upon the throne of Thy Cause, and by Thy Name through which Thou changest all things, and gatherest together all things, and callest to account all things, and rewardest all things, and preservest all things, and sustainest all things — I beg of Thee to guard this handmaiden who hath fled for refuge to Thee, and hath sought the shelter of Him in Whom Thou Thyself art manifest, and hath put her whole trust and confidence in Thee. She is sick, O my God, and hath entered beneath the shadow of the Tree of Thy healing; afflicted, and hath fled to the City of Thy protection; diseased, and hath sought the Fountainhead of Thy favors; sorely vexed, and hath hasted to attain the Wellspring of Thy tranquillity; burdened with sin, and hath set her face toward the court of Thy forgiveness. Attire her, by Thy sovereignty and Thy loving-kindness, O my God and my Beloved, with the raiment of Thy balm and Thy healing, and make her quaff of the cup of Thy mercy and Thy favors. Protect her, moreover, from every affliction and ailment, from all pain and sickness, and from whatsoever may be abhorrent unto Thee. Thou, in truth, art immensely exalted above all else except Thyself. Thou art, verily, the Healer, the All-Sufficing, the Preserver, the Ever-Forgiving, the Most Merciful. (Bahá’u’lláh)

She has my prayers and best wishes, and a note in my diary to think of her come the end of the month. Although understandably frightened I am sure that she will be fine. I that she finds encouragement from the fact that I know nobody who has had complications or problems with surgery.

Thank you! I had the same surgery she is having and I had no problems with mine and that was 28 years ago when they did not have the technology they do now. I'm sure she will be fine too. Prayers are always good to have.

hi. actually we have a great problem at this time with my 3 year old son. he has sleep apnea. we just came back home today from the ENT doctor and have told us to prepare a huge amount of money. that actually is our big problem now where we can get that huge amount. the doctor will do a adenotonsillectomy to make his air path clearer, wider. his tonsils and adenoids are very large that made him snore, gasp for air during sleeps. my prayers for your friend, our co-mylotter.

Thank you. I'm sorry to hear about your baby. I hope all goes well and the baby gets what is needed. It's so hard to accept and go through an illness with a baby. Good luck and prayers for you and the baby.

Hi moondancer, recently she became a friend to me too here, i will pray for her. It is nothing to worry, worry makes more discomfort. Convey my words to her, that LET KEEP FAITH ON GOD, LEAVE EVERYTHING TO GOD HE WILL TAKE CARE OF HER, NOTHING TO WORRY. I think because she is afraid of that surgery that's why she stopped breathing. You are very nice moondancer, you are concerned about your friends, i also remembered one of your discussion about your friend who is ill.... Hope your all friends are fine and healthy and you too.... God bless you all....

Thank you dear. SShe is afraid of this surgery because of what happened with the last one. They gave her the wrong medicine during anesthesia. This is why she must tell them now about the last time so they wi;; not repeat the problem again. Yes, I care about all of my friends and I do what I can for them.

if she worried about anesthesia, it will work in a reverse way... so ask her to be relaxed .... and also should not loose her heart..... It is nice to hear you care for your friends...

I may not know her personally but I'm here to offer my prayers to Dazzlebox as well. And hope the surgery is a success. There is none I've heard who have had problems during surgery. This should relieve her.

Yes, our prayers do work. I know this. Thank you so much Hatley. She has not told anyone about this surgery and I feel for her. I have had this surgery myself a long time ago. She had surgery and the last time had a problem and she woke up during surgery and could not breath at all. She was unable to tell them about it until it was all over again. I just thought she needed her friends right now and she does have many here.

I have not known anyone that has had any trouble during their surgery. In this day and age any problems are usually seen ahead of time. I hope that is the case here. I don't know if I know Dazzle or not but I certainly wish her well. Hope all goes well and that she is in the pink quick!

You probably do know her she has been in our circle of friends for a few years but just has not been here for some months. She also has a new name. Her last name has something to do with her cats in it. I just can not recall the name the first was "tatty". Thank you for your prayers for her I know she appreciates them.

Thanks for letting us know. She just sent me an email yesterday and didn't mention a word~ I was going to write back to her when I finished doing some mylotting. I know about "her condition" and I thought she was "getting better" so I really want to thank you for starting this discussion. And to you miss dazzlebox, why didn't you tell us? I know that maybe some people don't know you or you don't want them to, but those of us that do love you so! I will be praying for her and will be dropping her a line as I had planned! Love you both, Opal/Leslie

I had problems when I had two growths removed during surgery about two months ago. I could not speak or scream but felt the knife as although my eyes were closed I felt it all. It was agony. This hs happened to me before and although I explained this to the surgeon he assured my daughter that it was impossible. I repeated the conversation he had with the nurse.I wish your friend every good wishes and blessings that our God can give and may she have a speedy recovery. Oh the growths went to the lab and were none cancerous - for this I give thanks. Many blessings - I am rarely able to get on Mylot these days. I miss everyone.

hello cynthiann, I sure have missed you. I hope you get better soon. Take care of yourself. I hate to hear that you had such an awful experience. Doctors always think they know all. They think things don't happen like that, but you proved him wrong. I hate that it happened but you let the doctor know that it can and does. They need to start listening to the people they see.

Pye, she has been needing this surgery for over 3 years. Her problems have went on and on. She has been in pain all this time and the doctors just have not even tried to find out what was wrong with her. I knew with her symptoms what it was as she had the exact same ones as I did. I told her to go see them again and push them to do this and that to find this problem before she was in worse shape or not even here. If they had taken care of her years ago she would not be as bad as she is now. She has a cyst or more than one that is the size of a grapefruit and more the size of baseballs. They said they weight about 8 or 10 pounds. She kept on them until they found the problem. Even after they did the tests they did not read the tests right and she asked for a second opinion and they got it and found the cysts. SO they have given her a date for surgery of the 30th or the 31st. It's a day before her birthday I think. She will feel so much better after the surgery, Thank you so much for the healing energy and thoughts.

Hi mama, I know she will appreciate this simple good prayer. She sure does need his guiding hands for the anesthesiologist and the doctor. She does not need or want to stop breathing and wake up this time. Thank you so much for your prayer. I love you and it's good to see you here.

Hi Moonie, I'm sorry I don't know this friend, Dazzlbox but I wish her all the luck and can totally understand her fear. but I say if you trust your doctor then what she has to do is remind the surgeon, and anesthesiologist of her last surgery and what problems she had. When I was in my early 20's I had surgery to remove a grapefruit size Cyst on my Ovary and Tube. During the surgery my heart almost stopped. When I was coming to I heard the nurses talking about it. Then that evening the Anesthesiologist came to my room to make sure I was alright. They never do that. I think he was afraid of a law suit. I couldn't resist teasing him about that. You see he gave me too much medicine to put me under. When he walked in I said, I hear you almost killed me, with a smile on my face. Well his face turned white. I told him not to worry that I wasn't going to sue him. He made a mistake and I'm hoping that mistake kept him from maybe killing someone else. I've had 14 surgeries in my lifetime and never been afraid because I did what I suggested Dazzle do. I even talk to the Anesthesiologist before he puts me under. So again Dazzle, good luck and God Bless You. And try not to worry!!. Leenie

oh that is really sad, i pray for her and believe god will ease all her pain. Do not worry. Yes even i have undergone lot of pain during my surgery for my lower back. I cannot forget the pain that was, neither it does let me forget, yes i still get the pain for the area where i have stitches. It troubles me during winters and rainy season, also if i eat lot of meat in a day. I sometimes get too irritated by them but can't help

Hey moondancer, hopefully Dazzlebox's surgery goes well, I've known quite a few people who have had surgery before, and all of them lived happily. Nothing went wrong and every thing was fine. Hopefully Shelley's surgery goes well. I want to see her back on mylot soon! Have a great day and try enjoying your time mylotting! Punjab911
