why the member of mylot adding you as her friend?

Yes I have thought about It I think there is many reasons why It is happened. Like you said people are diffrent some people want only multiplate friend list. Some want to know something about that people culture. Other one want only sent them his refferal link. But others do not know why they do It. I add people who had interesting responses, posts etc. I never had sent emails to say Hello, How are you, but I try to response to they posts. Why do you add friends? Do you have any criteria? There was one guy who had a goal to have ten thousand friends in his list. I am in his list, and if I am not mistaken he did achieve his target. He is no longer active. I do not mind not receiving any messages from those in my list. We are all busy with other things in life. So far I have send messages to less than 10 of my friends, and they are unrelated to online earnings. I do read all messages that I receive. Several points have been mentioned above and they cover almost everything. My list includes same interests, same country, and same religion(though I am not particular aboutthe beliefs of thse who made a friend rewquest).

I tend to add people as a friend if i like a discussion that they have started or maybe a response to a discussion that i have started.I also see if they have the same interests as me.I tend to except people as a friend if they share the same interests as i do as that way it makes it easier to find a discussion to reply to aswell.

I am not sure why people add me. But I add people when I really like the personality they show in their posts or responses. I like people with a sense of humor and who like to start interesting discussions. Those people that bring a highlight to the post. I hope that's why people add me too. Lol.

I have a big list of people who have added me out of the blue and never directed even a single word to me, so I suppose that it's the third reason that you stated, to multiply the number of friends in their friend list. I don't really understand why that behaviour. I usually don't deny any friend request, but then I wonder why do they add me if they're not really interested in becoming my friends or anything.

My thinking is other mylotters here just want to send you some notes that you can join their referrals, then some for just increasing their friends whenever they make post then their friends will surely will see their post in their email when they open it. So mylotters will responds to their post.

advokatku you may also ask why a ton of people are asking me to accept them as friends. Ihave over 800 and am getting overwhelmed with discussions and comments. I did not purposely add people just to have a large list. I felt sorry for newcomers who had just a few friends but now my list has a lot of people on it who have seemingly left after being here a week or two. So yes I added them but now it seems like I am very popular and why? I am 84 and some are just barely in their teens. I do not do referrals so now I check profiles and if the only reason they want me as a friend to add to their referrals and they have a ton of friends already and maybe two discussions and 4 responses so they are not here for mylotting at all. so I deny them.

Gosh, it is truly difficult to manage all our friends here in mylot. But am sure that the ones I added as friends are the ones who really have perceptive and exciting ideas. Some are not exactly in conformity with my beliefs and principles, but hey, these mylotters write well and can defend their opinions par excellence. As to the ones who added me, well, what can I say?, perhaps they are in desperate need for responders for more cents. Shuckies, it is a hard, harsh world!

for me, i don't know exactly why they add me as friend and i never thought about it. However, having more friends is better than you don't any friends :D.
