Hi,While hosting your website you have to pay for both Domain registration and hosting as well. Domain reistration means the extension of your URL eg. .com,.net,.in etc. and hjosting refers tothe space given to your website. There are two options of server for you where you can host your site i.e. Linux and windows. So its upto you to choose. As for me, my host provider is running Linux with cpanel so I'm quite familiar with it. When you do decide to have your own website, you will need to pay for the domain name and the hosting (or host server).
