What's the Biggest (most Expensive) thing you have bought online?

Just wondering what the biggest and or Most expensive Item you have ever bought online is. And were your or are you satisfied with it? Would you buy something that big again? For instance.. I Purchased my car through eBay.. it is one of my Dream Cars.. I have wanted one for a long time. It's a pretty blue Pontiac Aztek.. Some people may call them Ugly - But I Love them. Anyway I got it for a great deal saved about $7,000 to $8,000. I had to have it shipped to me. But with that kind of savings it was worth it. My only regret is that I joined BigCrumbs just a few months after I bought it. For those of you who don't know what BigCrumbs is. It is a site that pays you Cash back on your purchases if you click thru their site first. Now eBay offers a small percentage back.. But I really wonder what it would have been on a $9500.00 purchase.. All in all I love my car. I have had no major problems with it and I would definitely buy through eBay again. So how was your experience?

Wow...I don't think I'd dare buy something that expensive online. I mean with all the scammers and all. As for me, the most expensive thing that I bought online would be a Juicy Couture bag. I'm pretty satisfied with it. It looks as good as it is on picture.

Very nice.. Well that is what matters that you are happy with your purchase. I was really lucky with my car purchase as I could not TRY it out first. But I was able to talk with the people who had it.. (they actually repossessed it -as the former owner did not keep up on his payments.) They told me that it ran great and looked fantastic and included MANY photos online to look at.

The largest thing I've purchased online would be my floor stand and scroll frame (for cross-stitching). I'm happy with both items.

Very cool.. :-) I so far haven't been disappointed too often when ordering online.. Once or twice.. but not too bad considering how many things I have bought. :-)

The one thing I bought on Big Crumbs, my cash back never got credited. But anyway, the most expensive thing that I've bought online is probably airline tickets for the whole family the year we went to DisneyWorld.

Yeah no kidding, it's really hard to find reasonable flight tickets lately...

Oh, that sucks.. I accidentally bought through ebay a couple of times -forgetting big crumbs and kicked myself in the butt for it after.. But other than that I have received credit from all my BigCrumbs purchases and with my referrals I have been earning money every month for the last couple of years.. It seems Airline tickets are a popular "BIG" Item. I guess you can drop a bit of money getting tickets for the family.

I am glad that you found the car of your dreams and that you have the money to buy things. With my personal life is shambles I am lucky that I am still here. Dish Network cut us off for no apparent reason. My desktop crashed which results in no phone service (we had to go with Magic jack because it is cheaper). Our power company keeps raising its rates and refuses to check out meter. Our bills have been 600.00 a month and I know that my husband and I do not use that much power. My husband's health has been horrible and we cannot get health insurance and cannot afford to go to the doctor. My mental health has been bad and I am not even sure why I am here.

Compared to a car, I think anything the rest of us buy online would probably be pretty small. My biggest, and most expensive purchase was a breadmaker. I don't remember the price, but it was over $100.00. I bought it on Amazon, and I've been very satisfied with it. I do a lot of my online shopping on Amazon because I've never had any problems with the sellers, and if I did, Amazon would be there to back me up. That can sometimes be worth not comparing prices, though I usuall do that before I buy.

LOL. True A car is pretty big.. I like amazon too. I get mainly books or movies from there. Anything else I look toward eBay. Unless it's electronics then I go to TigerDirect. and with both of those I can get cash back thru BigCrumbs so I save even more.. Unfortunately Amazon doesn't offer cash back with them although they are registered over there. A bread maker is pretty big. I usually shop around before I buy too. I will even go to a store and look at the item.. but then go find it online cheaper. I did that with my Nikon Camera. I want to know what it looks and feels like. But It was cheaper to go on walmart.com and order it (they offered a special with a case and a memory card) and I got cash back thru BC so it was a great deal for me. And the Camera has already paid for itself in the pics I have taken and used on zazzle to earn money with. I love a good deal!

mine would be a laptop i got online. i wouldn't take a chance buying what you did online via ebay. a car buy online is just too risky for me especially with it being from ebay.

Bummer on the time frame of buying your AZtec. Isn't that the way of it though?! I bought a bunch of stuff from HSN when I got money from an early retirement. That is about the largest amount I have spent in years. If I go for a big ticket item I go to the source. I just have to see it before I hand over the big bucks.

Wow, you bought a car on EBay? I can’t say I have ever made a purchase that big online! I’m glad it all worked out for you that you saved money and you are happy with the car. The most expensive thing I have bought on EBay has been a pair of Diadora leather motorcycle boots for my husband which cost me $130 which was an excellent price because I saw them in the store here for almost $250! He is happy with his boots and I have never had a purchase that I was not satisfied with. I too will continue to shop on EBay!

LOL.. see that's funny the one thing I don't buy online is shoes... I really need to try them on. So many don't feel comfortable I would hate to buy them only to not fit well.

I think that seems my mobile phone. As my favourite cellphone wasn't sold in our department store then(In fact it was introduced ultimately ,but I can't tolerate waitting for such a long time), thus I have to choose this pattern to buy it.

I also purchased my cell phone online.. And I was able to get over 10% back by using BigCrumbs.. which was really good because I could have bought it in the store and had it right away, But getting it online ended up saving me a bit of money and I only had to wait a few days before I got it in the mail.

That's a fair amount of money to spend. I have bought my computer ($400) and my camera ($230) online and am happy with them.. But The Car is definitely the Biggest thing so far. :-)

Most expensive thing purchased online would probably have to be airline tickets plus hotel to Las Vegas. Most expensive thing I sold through online (via ebay) has to be a signed Urlacher football helmet for about $300.

Well, that's cool getting money back is always a good thing.. $300 is pretty good.. I haven't sold anything that big. In fact the stuff I did sell I ended up taking a loss on.. so it kinda discouraged me from selling. :(

I don't dare to buy so expensive items online. In fact,I never have bought more than $200 something online. Perhaps I refer to buy expensive items from shop, even though it is more expensive than online,it makes me set my mind at ease.

I understand. It can be risky to by something online that you haven't checked out in person. I guess I probably got lucky.. But I figured the car was only 2 years old and not a lot of mileage, so I thought it can't be that bad. And all the pictures provided showed it to be in good shape physically. I do not regret my purchase.. I REALLY love my car.
