I love Dr. Zahi Hawass and in this show I find him rude and arrogant and yet I still can't help but love the man. It would be overly hard for me and my big mouth that is backed by a bad attitude to ever work for him but I would love to try. For those who don't know the show it is call ed Chasing Mummies and it is on Wednesday nights on the History channel. A team of camera men document and follow the good Dr.as he explores the ancient wonders of Egypt. It has been a dream of mine to do so since I was a child as the man in my hero (yeah I'm a nerd so what!) and has inspired all of my independent studies since I was quite young. I just wanted to bring to light this show for those who haven't seen it yet.

Yes, I watched the show last week and felt pretty much the same way. I think the girl that got lost in the tunnel was all a staged put on. I will still watch it occastionally because I am such a fan of Egyptology but he is a bit of a twit. I thank you for bringing this up. If I hadn't already found it I would be most appreciative to learn about it.

hi opinionatedlady thanks for telling me about this Chasing Mummies as I really enjoyed some fiction novels about this husband and wife team who were always off to Egypt looking for ruins, I wish I could remember the authors name. Anyway your Dr. Zahi Hawass sounds really fascinating and perhaps' I could get a chance to see this.
