It depends on what I'm watching. I'm actually the type of who always fail to hold back my tears especially when there's a scene that really touches me. The last movie I cried was Toy Story 3 on where Andy had to say goodbye to his toys. That scene was so emotional.

Hmmm... you are sensitive person. You could relate exactly to the character you've watching. It's okay to shed tears but not too much.:) I shed tears too. It means that I do understand the story and able to relate with it.

I can't help but shed a few tears when I watch TV and it doesn't even have to be a movie I'm watching. You should see me when I am watching Extreme Home Makeover. I bawl like it was me who got a new house or some one I know persoanlly, I am so happy for them. Or if I am watching a game show like minute to win it, I cry when people win lots of money, I am so happy for them. And then there is the love story movies, I can't help but cry when watching them. I watch Wuthering Heights for the first time, yesterday, and I cried so many times in that movie a person would think I had a bad cold. And it was a 4 hour movie... And then the sad movies, well, I need a box of kleenix beside me if I am watching one of those. Have a good day, your friend Chris

yes I do shed tears when I watch movies, especally ifit's about relationship and family. I could remeber crying everytime I watch a walk to remember and other movies, that my boyfriend's hanky before was soaked with tears. I guess, ladies are more emotional and easilygets carried away.

A a very emotional person, I'm easily moved to tears when I feel sympathy or when I cam relate to the stuff that's shown on TV. Some people say it's pathetic but it just goes to show that you're just human capable of showing your emotions.

I never shed tears when watching television or movies because they do not seem realistic. If it is a reality or a documentary, which I enjoy watching, I would act normal towards watching something that is real. People who act on sit-comes and movies do not get my attention.

There are a few programmes that I cry at. Especially Home Edition Makeover with Ty Pennington, when the families see their new home is when I shed a few tears. You hear about how they struggled in their old house and then when they see the new house - it really is like a dream house. I dont really cry at films, but then Im not really one for watching films. My boyfriend is a film buff but we like different types of films.

Of course I cry while watching movies, that's the whole purpose, to get into the movie and experience all those feelings, that's what shows if you enjoyed it or not. It it's funny you laugh and if it's sad you cry. Sorry for those who do not get any delight from movies.

yes,of course,i can't help it,specially when the scene is so emotional, but it also depends on what i am watching or what mood do i have when watching.sometimes,i can't cry no matter how emotional the scene is.it's all in the mind,i guess. and when i feel alone,i wanted to watch comedy films and to make myself enjoy the most funniest part, but sometimes i wanted to watch with someone else to make it more enjoyable.when i'm alone and watching sad movies,i can't help not to cry,bt i can control my tears when i'm with someone else.

Boy! A tear? It must just the eyelash that entered my eye. This is what I would usually tell my daughter if she catches me crying over a movie or just a TV melodrama. The truth is, I get emotional on movies and TV shows. It would not only be crying, I would laugh if it call for it; get mad when I feel angry and all other emotions it calls for. And oh, if the actor/actress are great I cannot control my emotions the more.

Sometimes depends how sad the film is and the music playing in the background can be pretty effective. Movies don't make me full-blown cry though it's just impossible for me, I keep remembering that it's just a film so my eyes may get watery but that's about it. When I was younger I cried more but not anymore it's not a manly thing to do ;)

I would shed tears if I watch a movie that touches my heart, particularly one that can relate to my personal experience. The movie has to have a certain level of depth in the storyline and to appeal to a wide range of viewers. I think it's just human to feel or symphatize for another person. If the movie could accomplish that, it is a successful movie and normally I would buy a copy of it if it's released in the store.

I will admit to feeling emotional whilst watching some films, but as a man there is a natural tendency not to show it! As a therapist and Zen practitioner, I know that there is no shame for a man to cry and the reason for crying shouldn't make any difference, because we are all moved by different events in life. My conditioning runs deep because as I was growing up, us boys were ridiculed and laughed at if we were to openly cry! _Derek

Hi, Yes...I do shed my tears when I watched Tv drama especially for those sad and touching story. It makes me recalled back these Singapore drama " the little nyonya". The story is very touching, about this young lady(Yue Niang) stayed in the rich Baby and Nyonya family and being treat as a maid,She is actually give birth by a maid who works there too(this maid got pregnant from the guy owner). Yue Niang is having pityful life there and so does her daughter Ju Xiang. Ju Xiang is a strong lady and at last ,she has her own business and stay happily with her husband. I shed my tears when I watched this drama...I just can't control my tears. I was so deep in to this movie, that I watched it for two times.

When the scene concerns maltreatment or hardships suffered by children particularly orphaned ones, those whose sufferings resulted either from their separation from their parents or the separation of their parents itself (broken homes), I easily get carried away and can't help crying. Hence, i prefer watching funny shows than heavy dramas as this results to a more lighter feeling.
