Well today I thought I would give my self a treat by getting me a computer chair! I had been using a kitchen chair that was wooden and very painful to sit on. So I thought I would get me a computer/office chair to make me more comfortable. So anyone else buy a computer chair recently or have a computer chair they like! Hope to see responses soon! Happy Mylotting!

hi 13tyates I was using a small bureau to sit on and the edges cut into my legs. My son, unemployed at thattime, found a desk chair for sale for four dollars at a Salvation Army store. It's height adjustment thingy was messed up but my son, being very good at fixing things, had that chair all fixed and running smoothly for me. Its padded and looks like newer chairs and it only cost six dollars, two more for the repair stuff he needed. Its a great chair and much better than sitting on top a little bureau with the edges cutting into my poor legs. lol lol lol.

hi yep my son is the best. yes there was no back support on that little bureau. as it is my computer and monitor and phone are on top of a huge bureau that houses all my clothes. I have no desk so miss having a comfortable place to put my poor legs.lol.

What a clever son you have! Glad you've now gotten a chair so that you no longer have to sit on a bureau, which I am sure was back supported either. How inventive you are though to have thought of that to sit on!

Having a cumfy chair will for sure allow you to earn more online since you are feeling better. Is it leather? Adjustable height?

I completely agree... the chair has already started paying off for how long I can stay at the computer! It is that kind of fake leather I guess you would call it. Yes... it does have an adjustable height! So yup I like it a lot! Thanks for posting.

Hi there 13tyates! Congratulations on your new computer chair! I think that it is very important to be comfortable with anything that you do so that it will bring about productivity and also a sense of enjoyment with the sense of fulfillment when you're done. I don't really have a computer chair but I am comfortable with the chair that I am using now.

Ugh, I am sure your new computer chair is much more comfortable than a wooden kitchen chair...I also have a comfortable computer chair, soft and supportive..I can lower or raise the back and even lower and raise the height of the chair, making it perfect for my long hours online..

Yes like you said it was VERY uncomfortable to sit on that hard wooden chair. Glad that you also have a very nice and supportive computer chair to hold you up to long hours online! I know it supporting my back was my favorite thing so far! Thanks for posting!

My dad had given me one of those kneeling computer chairs years and years ago, but somewhere along the way I bought a desk chair. Pretty comfortable too....

We got one, I think around November of last year, I forget exactly though. In any case, our other one was torn up, so we just went out and got one on sale. I have one complaint about it and that is that it locks up sometimes so that we have to push the lever so the chair will go down, and the pull it back up, but that's no real biggie. I don't like to sit in kitchen chairs when on the computer, unless they have a cushion with them. I am sure it's way different now, and lots more comfortable. I had no idea that you had a kitchen chair as a computer chair, now I understand why you were always getting off to watch t.v.!

Well glad you were able to get a new one. When it gets so torn up it is a pain top sit in you know it is time to get a new one! LOL - I hope mine does not end up having that lock up problem... though it very well could eventually. Yup that kitchen chair hurt my bottom and back but now it supports my bottom and back so it is tons better! Yup exactly - the only comfort I could get was to go watch TV in the recliner! Any way it is better now with my awesome new computer chair! Thanks for posting!

I think by then I'd be dragging the recliner to the computer lol that is to say if it was that uncomfortable. Actually we have a recliner right in the room so I could move this chair, drag the recliner over and voila instant comfort! It may, but I guees it depends on how much the chair is adjusted. I sit in it as high as it'll go, other users put it as low as it'll go.

Hmm.... I bet that could be nice being in a recliner using computer lol. Might be hard to function with the computer in the recliner though! I have my chair at a setting of low because well - if I did not then I would not be able to sit at the desk... because it is a kind of low desk. lol

I have a couple that I thought I liked, but with the heat, vinyl is very uncomfortable after awhile. Good job, getting something so useful for yourself. If you spend a lot of time on the computer, the right chair is certainly an asset.

Yes. I would not compute without one. I worked in the computer field for years before standing in the classroom to mathematics and computers. So, at home I do use a computer chair. The chair supports my back, thus I can compute longer :)

good for you:D no really, I myself really need to get one myself... this one i have was on a sale and in a price of 32$ looked fancy so I bought, and it is good, its just that its not feeling right on my back- really cant explain it ." and no trigger to fix the back's angle... never buy IKEA stuff... even if you build them up well they still are crap =x
