I just spent about an hour setting up an account on eHarmony. They have a free thing going on for about a week and I thought I would check it out. So I get to the end of the question and answer sequence and think I am going to go check out some men on the site. WRONG! I get a notice saying: Cannot predict good matches for me. Have you ever gotten this notice? Ever signed up for eHarmony? WTF??!!

I haven't, but I can't imagine there not being any good matches for you on there. People everywhere sign up on those sites. It seems very unlikely...bet it's because it's a free trial...if you were paying they would have plenty of matches. It's always about the money.

Ya, I was just curious. I never feel that people are going to find the one for them right around the corner. Ya, all about the money!

WTF is right! What are they trying to say? Isn't that discrimination. How do they know the next person that signs up isn't gong to BE the perfect match for you.. Are You a Felon ?? Have elephant man syndrome and sent them a pic first? HOW CAN THEY KNOW or NOT KNOW? That is just plain Ridiculous.. NO- I have never signed up for eHarmoney-- and now I never will.. and I will bad mouth them to everyone I know.. just to get back at them for you... okay?

They even say in their commercial that they don't pick everyone to be a part of their circle. Myself I have no idea what their criteria is for acceptance. I do not know why they would turn you down and say they. I think we should start our own relationship site! Don't you? I mean just think of it. No one would really be turned down because I've always heard there is some one for everyone. This must be true. Why should we go to these places that just want a certain type of people that have lots of money, ot have their own businesses, or what ever else makes them a part of this other places acceptance? II'm sorry they did not find someone for you. II have never went to any of these places but then I've been with my husband almost 19 years now. If I were in a position that I was wanting to meet someone I would seriously think about it because I don't do the bar scene or go many places at all. I mean who has time to these days?

I've heard that this has happened to many people and not just a few, a lot of them have been turned down. Still it is not right.

I got a message that basically said I was unmatchable. I even signed up again and chose the opposite of what I chose before and I STILL came up unmatchable. The reason EHarmony works so well is because it filters out certain personality types. It leaves people who just fit into one little box to be matched up with other people who fit into one little box. This is why they are so easily matchable. Unfortunately I like people who can think for themselves, do not necessarily agree with me all the time, do not necessarily like everything I like, this gives a good balance and room to learn new things from your partner. So personally I think you should be proud you could not be matched because you probably have a unique personality and are very interesting and you do not fit in a set little box and you are not easily defined. I think they should make a site (if there already is not one out there)called Eharmony Rejects where everyone who was rejected can see if they can find someone special. =) So be proud and fly free CelticEagle.

Eharmoney rejects, that's a good one. I like your attitude towards friends/dating. I'm sure I would be rejected, too. I think outside the box.

You're exactly right! WTF?! I thought they had something like '29 dimensions of compatibility'. That free thing they have for a week sounds like a scam. It might just be a ploy so that they could draw in new users. And when they get you interested enough, then you could start paying for their services. Unfortunately, I haven't signed up for any any dating sites.
