Amazing Grace - how sweet.......

This is a truly amazing story and video. There is no way someone can watch this and not feel their heartstrings being tugged dramatically!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uKPp4j-YQ00&feature=player_embedded Isn't she just the sweetest little thing you've ever seen?? All she's ever known is "nubs", so she's not limited in any way, really, if you think about it. She's as happy with what she has as any other kitten is with perfect appendages. I don't know about you, but I think this little sweetheart epitomizes how we should live our lives - as happy as if nothing were wrong, content in our surroundings, deriving pleasure from the normal joys of life. What do you think? Can you see parallels in her joy of living and how we should try to be? Would you be willing to take in a special needs baby like this? (I wouldn't mind at all given that she's otherwise healthy - I can't afford special treatments or even regular vet visits at this point.)

I know, she's a cutie. I would take in a special needs kitten, except I'm in the same boat with you, barely making it with my kind vets extending me credit!

I wish I knew a kindly vet so I could take Chloe for an exam. And, this little one has no other issues except the lack of legs with which she was born, so she's an otherwise normal kitty (and she thinks so, too!!) She's so full of joy!

Very cool video and beautiful kitty! It is truly amazing how she adapted to her disability! Like you I can not afford much these days. That said I would definitely take in a less than perfect pet. My sister in law had a puppy who was missing a paw. He adapted just fine. As a pup he required some extra care but not for long. He grew up to be a fine dog!

This little one never knew anything but what she was born with - to her, there was no adapting necessary. It was was what it was. She's a vibrant and joyful little creature who only sees happiness in her life. I wish we humans could be so fortunate.

Aw, Amazing Grace is adorable and I would never get rid of a kitten because it was deformed. She has so much life and spunk and she was just like a normal cat besides not having the two legs, maybe there will be something they can make to fit over her stubs so she will be able to walk better then having to bunny hop.

I bet she was. I love watching kittens and their cute little antics they are so adorable to sit and watch sadly they don't do it as much as they get older.

hi jerz girl oh that kitten truly is amazingand so cute, and she has the perfect attitude, so what no front legs, well I will just get on with life as its lots of fun. She should inspire those of us who have disabilities to go ahead and live with what we have and be happy anyway. I wish I could adopt a kitty that's less than perfect but alas it would up my rent at Gold Crest one hundred dollars which i do not have so cannot care for a kitty.

I knew you'd like this video, Hatley!! Wasn't she just the most special and adorable little girl??? She doesn't have any disability whatsover, as far as she's concerned. She knows nothing else but her nubs and they're normal to her. Oh to be that happy.

I think she's so adorable! Yes, I have taken in special needs kitties. I think it's in my genes. My parents both did it. I've loved kitties since I first clapped eyes on one. To me, the scruffiest, raggedy-eared, scarred up old tom is as beautiful as the most prized breeds. I totally agree with you about kitties. I have loved them since before I can remember. This one seriously stole my heart!!

That's one cute cat. I've had blind cats before. So I know what's like to have disabled animals. She's lucky to be happy healthy and able to do what she wants. If her only downfall for doing what she wants is tile, then that's simply amazing. She can get around and take care of herself for the most part. What a cute animal.

She is just adorable!! She doesn't know anything but her little nubs and she makes full use of them! It's great to see her so active and not hampered by what we see as a defect.
