Hi guys! I personally love the rain. It is during drizzles, rain, thunderstorms, I easily get inspired to write a poem. There are times I write songs due to the rain and how I feel a connection.

I love to write all the time but my favorite weather to write in is either watching the sun rise or set or getting up real early in the fall up in the mountains by a river and watch the fog of steam com off the river with the mountains as a back drop it's beautiful and it reminds me just how amazing God is and all that he created!

Hi joedollarhuat, You took the words right out of my mouth. I love to write when the weather is dreary. When the rain comes it clears the way for thinking about many things, happy and sad. Writing poetry is my favorite thing to write during that time. Early morning, before sunrise is another favorite time of the day for me to write. 5:30 in the morning is my wakeup time. I feel excited about the new day and if, while I am adjusting to the day, I get inspired to write a poem I stop right then and get it down. There is no waiting for later, or you lose it and it may not come back. I am very lucky, If I have poem in my head it only takes me a few minutes to get it together and I get to the computer type it up and print it out. I love being creative and I am excited to see where it will take me. It is thundering right now, that is not my favorite. Gotta go that was loud.

Hmmm... when it's raining or when the sun is shining gloriously, I can't write. Such weather conditions make me feel sleepy. And I can't find the sleepiness. I am most inspired when the weather condition is fair...:D
