I have heard from many people that if we sleep more,it helps in loosing our weights and if we sleep less , it helps in gaining our weight but many people say just the opposite that if we sleep more, our weight will increase and if we sleep less ,our weight will decrease. What is the truth ? I now a days sleep very less due to load of studies and works. so i Wanna know this!! And i want to loose weight. So should i sleep less or more??

Getting enough sleep is important, but according to the Hibernation Diet, quality of sleep is just as critical. The theory advocates the daily consumption of 1 to 2 spoons of pure honey before bed time, believing that honey is the most ideal food that can provide for the fuelling mechanism for the liver at night (during recovery mode, ie sleep). It is said that this would help improve quality of sleep and even lose weight over time. Read the articles to further understand the scientific theory that supports the idea of "sleep and lose weight". The way I heard it is that if you don't get enough sleep, whatever is enough for you, you will tend to gain weight because you are tired and your body wants energy, so that makes you want to eat, especially sugar and snacky, high calorie things.

It seems to Me that The best way to find out about something you're not sure about is to go ahead and try it out to see for yourself..So,why not Give it a go and let us know how much (Or how little!) sleep you'll need to lose weight!

I have heard many things about the link between sleep and losing weight.Experts claim it has something to do with the hormones leptin and ghrelin, which the body produces when a person is sleeping. Leptin suppresses appetite while ghrelin stimulates eating. When you don’t get enough sleep, it drives leptin levels down, which means you don’t feel as satisfied after you eat, according to researches.
