i'm just wondering if it is my bank information in my paypal account is safe... i am new to mylot and the only reason i signed up to paypal is because of this... my boyfriend scolded me for adding my bank info to paypal because of the possibility that some people might be able to access it and use it against me or something like that...use it in some fraudulent things..and i was alarmed but i don't know if that's highly probable though...i just need some opinions from fellow mylotters...thank you...

Just be sure that you are using the genuine paypal site when entering your email and password. Beware of phishing sites because it's the only way for your paypal to get hacked by some people..

I have used paypal for a while and have never had any problems at all. I trust them and they are a good reputable company. Most sites use paypal for payment. I know that Amazon and ebay accept paypal. As a matter of fact, I know that one must use paypal in order to off of ebay.

Paypal will never ask you your password or login information. Always go directly to paypal if there is any question about your account. You could also open a second bank account just for paypal and keep it separate from your original account.

I'm using paypal for a long time and I can say that it's safe to put your bank information in it. You can identify if the site is safe to enter bank or personal information if the page starts in "https". I also suggest that you use a different email and password for paypal. And not your personal email for it.

For me paypal is a very safe website and I trust it true their hackers, but just be aware of fake emails and such asking for your bank info those are always phony so just ignore those. To my knowledge I know for sure that paypal never asks for any private information. So I'm sure that you will have no problems at paypal. When I first ask the bank lady when I was making a bank account I asked her do you know what paypal is. She said yes I use one and it's very safe she told me so I took her word for it because hey she was the bank lady.

Im sure it is possible to be hacked on paypal. But my boyfriend has used it for a year now and he loves it. its much better to put your paypal account when you are trying to buy something then just your info everytime. it's highly doubtful you will get hacked.

I thin PayPal is a very safe website, and the official website is www.paypal.com and if you don't tell anyone what your PayPal email address you sign in with, or what your password is, your PayPal account should be safe.
