Hi darylT, there are loads of options now for selling pictures on the internet. I kicked off using stock websites a few years ago. It took a while to get the ball rolling but once you have hundreds - even thousands - of pictures on several sites it can get quite interesting and worthwhile. I've had most success with istockphoto and Fotolia but there are other good ones too. (With people shots the model release forms needed can be downloaded from the stock photo websites themselves). If you print your own photos then why not set up a little website of your own!? There are photography website templates specially designed for photographers with no coding skills but who'd like an online outlet. You can then market it in your own way. Wix.com do some pretty cool stuff. Also check out photocart. If the people you photograph are people you know, you could just point them towards your site and they could make purchases using the shopping cart. If you just want to be responsible for the 'storefront' and let others deal with the back-end stuff of printing, shipping etc, there sites that provide this kind of service too. I've done alright with RedBubble - also SmugMug are good. So have a look around - there are loads of options. This site is full of advice on the subject: http://www.photography-art-cafe.com, especially this section http://www.photography-art-cafe.com/how-to-sell-photos-online.html. Best of luck! It can take a while before your galleries - on whatever kind of site - get much attention. But it's really fun when they finally do!

One important thing to remember when considering selling photos is that you need to get what is called a "model release" from the person in your photo to legally be able to sell it. If you don't, you could get sued. So before you could sell or upload images to any site like that you'd need a signed release from anyone and everyone in your photos.
