what do you think hybrid or genetically modified vegetables are better for us than the normal/natural vegetables?basically...Organically grown has more to do with growing methods than nutritional value. There are some nutritional vitamins/chemical differences in some fruits and vegetables if you compare the conventional to organic..but not major differences. If you are concerned about pesticide residue on the item or affecting the produce, you must have to eat natural vegetables? what do you think?

Well as I have gotten older I have modified my ways about how I approach my dietary intakes. However let us look back several years to our parents and or their parent they pretty much ate out of mud and they lived longer than us. They did not worry about all the commercialized information telling them they were going to die. In fact they outlived the sponsorships. LOL
Kidding aside yes there are some things I prefer organically because I do worry about all the pesticides, and because I have experimented and they really have a great distinct taste to them. Whereas some things like milk for instance you will not get me to switch to organic milk. A regular gallon of milk tastes yummy and cost about $3 bucks here in US and a Gallon of Organic Milk cost almost $9 bucks and tastes horrible.

Hybrid vegetables and fruits may not be necessarily better. But I would say that organic fertilizers would not do much harm or any unlike those which are chemically produced. The latter might leave traces within the fruits and vegetables and eventually get into our system through ingestion when we eat them.

Crazy, I had some inputs about your discussion but as I was thinking how to phrase them, I couldn't stop looking at your avatar. Now it's all gone and I am still laughing. Are you, by any chance, a hybrid or a mutation?

When I growed up from the countryside, our vegetables were kept pesticide to keep out of the insect, but it is safe to eat after several months. It's nutritional. Now I lived in city, I can't buy and get the good vegetables or fruits from city.

The only difference about organic and non-organic is that in organic, they use all natural everything. From the soil to fertilizers and pesticides. So organic is healthier in a way that it is not harmful. Now hybrid is entirely different. It's just like its name, a hybrid, to produce a different fruit/vegetable. A hybrid can also be organic or non-organic. Is it better? At some points it is better, that's why they created it in the first place. But we can't be sure of the side effects.

I like natural things. And I hate things done in the name of scientific improvement. Man shall remain appreciating the nature and NATURE will nurture him, beautifully. Why is he not opening his eyes to see what all the things he had done so far? No scientific inventions can bring health or peace for humans. Addiction is the only benefit of technology improvement.

I believe organic is really the best for us. But because growing them organically means more effort and more expenses, we can see that their prices are usually high when in the beginning of time they used to be free.
It's still business.
Because the global economic crisis, sad to say we couldn't afford them on a daily basis. I think eating non-organic fruits and veggies and less on meat and processed foods is still better than nothing at all.

I honestly use the think the whole organic thing was a complete crock of crap but then a few years ago a friend of mine and I decided to try it for a month. I'm not going to lie I could actually feel the difference in my body. I could feel my body kind of freaking out the first week because of no animal hormones or msg then the weeks after I felt just more energy, and honestly happier. The food tasted better too. I would still be doing it if I could afford it but I now definately try to get organic when I can. The best way to check it out is just try it.

Hi dear,
Almost all clinically developed products are developed with same quality of the natural products only. Also demanding commercial advantages. Even though, it is as good as natural ones, they are more in excess of minerals. Basically, all looks and quantity/quality etc are better. But in considering an overall valuation, as you said, the vitamins and chemicals are more and it will affect the human immune system badly.
And also, the human body also is typically now comparable with the environmental surroundings. All vegetables and fruits are made in such a way especially in developed countries.
The best way out is to follow a 50/50 ratio - that is mix up our food practice with a mix of both natural as well as developed ones, because gradually the natural things may disappear from the face of earth.
Regards,
Thank-s

Of course, the pesticides worry me a lot, so I definitely think it is better to eat stuff that doesn't have them in them, or that has as little as possible. Organic stuff usually tastes better too! (the only downside is that the fruits and veggies are not always very pretty, but that's not so important to me anyway)
