Have you ever wrote posts when in a foul mood?

I was looking through some old posts and some of them did have a cranky undertone to them. Some were not that obvious and rather obvious. I must have been in a bad mood on those days. They were slightly entertaining all things considered and normally, something that annoys me+bad mood=entertaining posts. Do you ever post in a bad mood? Looking forward to reading your responses and thanks.

I have written posts when i was not in the best of moods before. I try not to let this happen though. My words may be sharper than I would intend. I don't always like how I express myself with my words when my mood is not good.

It is funny how we often look at those things in retrospective. Of course, many times, we are looking at them through a fresh, neutral set of eyes. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

Yeah, my writings can kind of come and go when I'm in a bad mood. Of course, many people could argue that its a different kind of good. When I'm in a truly bad mood, I really cannot string much of anything together. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

I don't post or respond to mylot discussions when i'm not in the mood. Words don't just come out of my head.. Instead of helping out make a healthy discussion, i might be the one causing it to look bad.

That could be the case a lot of the times. Of course, as I said, a truly bad mood would lead to no posts, due to the fact that I cannot string sentences together. Moderately bad moods or rather irritated, it could lead to something. Perhaps I should not be posting but days like that happen, even if I do not realize that I am in such a mood until much later at the time. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

I think I came onto myLot once when I was in a bad mood. I didn't respond to any discussions, but I created my own. I was upset that every appliance in my house seemed to be breaking at one time. But, I don't think I'd ever respond to others discussions if I was in a bad mood because I'd be afraid I'd say something hurtful by mistake.

You know, that situation would put me in a bad mood. But I think that myLot would be the furthest thing from my mind at that time. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and has contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

Even in real life, your speech and performance depend a lot on your moods so i think its just natural for everyone to have such post before. I myself have written a lot of that kind too

That is very true. Of course, in real life, moods are a lot more obvious. Where over the Internet, it can tend to be ambigious. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

Herro megamatt I concur with the first two responses. If I am in a mood, I stay away from mylot. I value my friends here and they do not deserve my bad mood. If I need to vent a bad experience I will wait a few days and frame my words carefully, if I address the issue at all. Usually, I just let it go. Some people will disagree. That is OK, we are each entitled to our own style. I believe in being courteous. Prosperous mylotting

Yes, that is normally for the best. Like I said, if it was truly in a bad mood, I would not be able to really function at all to string together any coherant sentences. I think bad mood might have been an overstatement. Highly irritated for some reason might have been a better way to phrase, but one could say that would be considered a bad mood. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

yes. I can look back on my discussions and responses and tell what kind of day I was having that day. For the most part, its not too bad, but I sure would like a delete option for the months that I was pregnant...that was a whole crazy emotional rant period that I'd just as soon forget LOL

I have posted a couple of discussions while I was in a pretty bad mood, and I tend to express myself in a very sarcastic way when that happens. Most of the time I stay away from Mylot when I am a bad mood, but sometimes I feel the need to express my feelings and then I end up posting anyway It depends on my mood I think, when I am angry sometimes post a discussion, but when I am sad I am not interested in creating or reading discussions and then I usually do something different like playing some games.

Yes, that is about how I come off when I am a bit touchy as well. It's not outright mean, but there are times where it could come across that way. Of course, it could come across wrong at the best of times, because its online. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

Yes I did, not many, but nevertheless, post made in foul mood. I even started a discussion one time. I did mention I was in a foul mood. I like to think that myLot is a place where I can be myself and unburden myself. And that is why I like it so much as well. I don't have to pretend here.

Although to be honest, foul moods are not always bad. It can inspire some creativity. As long as your words are not too harsh. Your example of a topic is one of the ways why. Would you have thought of it if you were not in a foul mood? Maybe, maybe not. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

Hello Megamatt. I don't come on here if I'm in a bad mood. I'm rarely in a bad mood but I do get bad moods so I just do other things to unwind when it happens. I don't want to accidentally offend anyone by sounding abrupt or harsh so I think it's best for me to come back when I'm in a better mood.

I think that even when I in a good mood, some of my posts could come across the wrong way when you really think about it. Such is the nature of the Internet, unfortunately. No one can see your face or your body language over the Internet. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.
