What Do You Think About All These Fairytale Movies?

I know that we used to watch them as children, and we're still having out kids watch them. Movies such as Beauty of the Beast, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty. It is fun for us as kids to watch them, but as we grow older and start to realize that boys don't have cooties, we start to see the different picture. We grow up thinking that we are going to live the same way. With a prince charming that will always be there for us. I haven't really decided if it's good or bad. What is your opinion?

These fairy tale stories are reminders that when we dream, we should dream big. Dreaming that someday a prince charming will come to carry us to a faraway place where we live happily ever after. Also don't you think the animated version are better now because of the musical input in them? When we watch them, we can always go back to being a child...

Fairy tales as the name suggests are just tales told to the kids for entertainment. They contain dreams and fantasy of young kids and they teach them to grow up with such dreams.
But when kids grow up and become adults then they realize that they themselves must convert their dreams into reality because no fairy tale creature would really come and do something like this for them.
They are just plain fun for kids. They teach the kids to dream. They provide a good distraction for them so that they be watch the cartoons or fairy tales calmly.
