I know that this is going to sound really crazy and weird. My son came and kept telling me that a lady gave him a flashlight in his dream. And I was not really thinking as hard about him telling me this. Well after he got dressed from taking his shower, we was in the kitchen. I was fixing some lemonade into my cup. He began to tell me that he has a flashlight under his sister's Cinderella pillow. He was actually referring to his sister's Little Mermaid's pillowcase. He said that he thinks that is where the flashlight is because he put it under his sister's pillowcase. So he went in his room. And he brought back a blue flashlight. I almost passed out. But I did not fall. I thought that he was just saying this because of his dream. But he really did have a blue flashlight. I know that it is not mines or his dad's own at all. I know my son really well, if he took this from me or his dad he would have been playing with this for a long time. I would have known about this. I have talked to him about this and the mysterious lady. He has told me that three monsters came into his bedroom and the lady came and killed them. He said that she changed her clothes into a police officer's uniform. He said that she has a white face. And her hair is white and brown. He said that she is very nice to him. I know that this is all eerie. It is scaring me. How can my son get a flashlight that no one has given to him at all? This flashlight does not look familiar one bit. My son did not go anywhere to get this flashlight at all. He was home all day long until he went to get his hair cut around 4 p.m. He mentioned the dream about the flashlight very earlier today. I am not really sure what is going on here, but this sounds very strange! My son said that the lady follows him around a lot too. He even said that the lady wanted to sleep in his bed. She told my son that she wants to follow him everywhere that he goes. I am worried right now because I don't know who this woman is. I know that she can't get in our apartment. We live upstairs and we have a bolt hinge lock on our front room door. We only have one door that leads to the outside in our apartment. And, he has told me that, the lady stands outside of his window staring. And he said that she looks like a grown woman. He tells me that that the lady does not make him scared she makes him happy. She killed the monsters with a gun. All of this is what my son has told me. If I did not know any better, I would think that this woman is my son's guardian angel. What do you think?

I heard of something like this a while back, sweetie. A 6 year old got a old coin by a lady and the parents had a hard time believing it. As i understood it, this is possible that guardian angels do look after children. What the reason is, no one will ever know. I don't think you have to worry about it, though. Just keep a eye on him and see if anything like this happens again. Then you go see a priest. Luck. TATA.

Hi cream, Is it real? Too eerie to believe. How could someone hand over a flash light that was not given to him by anyone? Was not your grandson all scary when he told this to you? I smell fishy. Its strange though...

There's a rational explanation for everything. Kids like to invent stories and fantasies and actually believe in them. It's their way of magical thinking, that's why they're psychologically vulnerable at small ages.

I think that you shouldn't get scared with this incident instead you should be a bit relaxed that there is someone taking care of your kid invisibly. well this has been proved that the angel is in no manner going to harm your kid instead she is protecting the baby. Most of all the kid is happy and isn't scared.

Very interesting story! Although I don't have any personal experiences about my kids physically getting something from a dream, I do believe in guardian angels. When my son was a baby he fell from the bed to the floor. This happened when we were all downstairs. We heard a loud thud, and we feared the worst. When we found him, he was sleeping on the floor, beside the bed with a smile on his face. We thanked his guardian angel!

It sounds to me that this woman may be a spirit that has chosen to attach herself to your son. Maybe she had a son and he reminds her of him. Ask your son to look at some old pictures of family members and see if he sees the woman in those pictures. If he says he does then you'll know for sure if this person has passed over. May I suggest that you put a video camera in your sons room where it points toward the window. After a week or so check it and see what is on there and go from there. Or check it every morning, it's up to you. If you see any white orbs or strange lines of light then it is possibly here. Let us know what you find out. I'm curious to know. Also it seems she is protecting your son and you have no worry that she is there to harm him.

hi cream while I think the monsters were not real but in his d ream I also believe he did meet his quardian angel and she would of course zap any monsters she would sense in his dream state. I know I did not really believe about guardian angels myself. But once my little girl was in the hospital and very ill, the doctor's were afraid she might die. I went to the hospital chapel to pray. I heard someone murmur my name. I turned around and a young woman clad in a long white robe stood there, a golden light all about her. She said in a sweet belllike tone, " Your little girl is going to be just fine. It is not yet her time to go to God.' I tried to speak but she just vanished . At first I thought she was a hospital nun but just then the Chaplin came over. I told him about her and he said,"You have just met your Guardian Angel" Sadly fou r years later God did take her home. that was truly heartache time. I would not worry at all as she must be his very own Guardian angel.

I think you are afraid of all this because you don't know much about gaurdian angels. Do you know anyone that has passed that has hair like that or that had a fondness for your son? Might be a relative. I wouldn't worry and I certainly would not show worry or fear to your son. That is the last thing he needs right now. Children are special folk and for some reason he has been graced with this lady. She will not harm him. If anything she may help him to be a more sensitive and caring little guy. It seems to be a good relationship between the two of them and he is there to help him and be his helper and guardian angel. Be glad she is there. And I really hope you don't show him any fear or negativity about her being there for him.

This is really a strange situation and a very frightening one because what happen to your son may happen again. The appearance of the flash light is impossible to believe. Children don't lie and they tell the truth most of the time. Maybe there is a ghost or some supernatural beings who like your son. The best thing to do is install camera in your sons room or much better if you can sleep with him or he must sleep with your husband and don't let the other child sleep alone. From now on you must be open to a lot of new things.

Oh that was fascinating?yes maybe that woman was your son's guardian angel. I believe too that we are all protected with our guardian angel depending on how good our heart is.

That's really scary huh... If this lady makes your son happy then that's great, but the thing is he is the only one that sees her and that he even brought a concrete proof of what seems to be his imagination. How about trying to sleep with him at night, maybe it would send that lady away?

That's a very weird instance my friend cream.. My husband and I read about your story and we got a little confusedly worried about your kid. And really, you know, I don't think the woman is his guardian angel. Maybe some ghost or something that want to play with your kid. His story is eerie and I felt goosebumps when I read it. Please don't let this kind of thing happen again. If you have time try bringing him to an "albularyo" so that you can have an idea of what the heck is stalking your kid. I'm not a very superstitious person but when it comes to kids, we should do something for situations like this because kids doesn't realize the things happening to them and they aren't very much aware of what these things can do.

That's quite creepy. I think it depends on what you believe is it a guardian angel, a kind spirit, a dream w/ a vivid imagination? Hard to say what is going on I'd just keep a close eye on things including his tv/movie viewing and how much sleep he gets for now.

Hi Cream, He certainly has her looking out for him so quite possibly a guardian angel, children are far more sensitive to spiritual activity and don't have any preconceived ideas so to them it is not frightening just normal. As to the flashlight when my daughter was small hairbrushes used to disappear and reappear and coins would be thrown down the stairs although no money upstairs so objects can do this too. It is good to know that she is fighting the monsters around him, keeping evil away and also think I remember you saying about a blue light before being seen in a bedroom. Try not to let it frighten you and don't question your son about it just let him share whenever he chooses to. Huggles. Ellie :D
