When is the last time you read a newspaper? Newspaper is sort of a dying art. I'm not talking about the online version, I mean a real honest to goodness newspaper. I havent read one for at least ten days or more, although I wanted one last week. I like to get the coupons on Sunday, and look at the TV schedule.

I actually read them pretty often, but I never pay for them. I work in a restaurant, and we have customers that bring them in and leave them on the tables all the time, so I usually just bring one home when I have the chance to get my hands on one. Otherwise, I just read the news on the internet, or I watch it on TV. It is nice to sit and read the newspaper the old-fashioned way from time to time...

I read the Washington Post every day and the Wall Street Journal six days a week. The Journal is a better newspaper. I also read the Washington Times but it went down hill. I do read the electronic internet version that is free. The Washington Post stopped its daily business section and the Monday business section cost an extra $1 week. I think the Post has gone down hill too since you do not see depth in local reporting .

I'm not sure if newspaper will ever completely die out, because they are a habit for people, but I read a local paper a lot more than a national one.

I read a newspaper yesterday. We have it delivered to our home every weekends. My parents prefer reading hard newspapers instead of soft or online ones. Come to think of it, I also prefer that over the online as I like the feel of being able to hold the paper and flip it back and forth with ease. I don't know, I maybe I just prefer reading papers than reading online.

Newspapers are being taken over by TV and Computers. A person can go online for pretty much anything and with the weather a person can use there fone to call and find out what the weather will be like. I actually think that newspapers are a waste of paper.

Tht is true they kind of are. and then you have to figure out what to do with them thye can make clutter. They add to work at the recyling center if they even make it there. I just think they have outlived their usefulness.

It's kind of sad that so many newspapers are having to shut their doors. I know one that became just an online newspaper, so they cut their staff by 2/3. The last time I read a newspaper was yesterday. It was not mine, just the person that I was with. I think as the older generations die out, so will the newspapers. Right now so many people have the tradition of getting up in the morning and reading the paper with their coffee. Or coming home late, eating dinner, and putting their feet up while they read the newspaper. The younger generations never had that. So like we have already seen, newspapers will begin to go by the wayside.

I read my newspaper daily. It is the best way to know about what is going on in the world around us. With a newspaper, you can get local and national news that could be important to your life. i also like to read the editor's page, and other columns of interest. you just don't know what may be newsworthy to you each day.

I agree that there are signs showing that newspapers are dying. However, I think newspapers should be kept in the future even though there is a rising trend in the on-line newspapers and electronic books. Newspapers are very important to us because it is one of the most traditional and popular media for people to get the latest information about the things happening around them and have their opinions expressed in some parts of the newspaper like the freelence. Also, we might sometimes get some knowledge about different topics like stem cells explained by experts from the opinions and ideas they have given on these kind of specific topics which are new to us. Therefore, besides acting as a media in our everyday lives, newspapers are actually an encyclopedia to us as they include knowledge in respect to different areas. Thus, I think we should try our very best to keep newspaper as it is a very important element in our everyday lives.

I don't read the newspaper very often, but I like to open it up some times and read articles, or at least the comics in the very least. It depends on the day.

I go to the library and read the newspaper. I just do not buy them. I read three or four of them. Not all the way through, but pretty well. It is bad that many of them are in syndicates now and they all seem to have the same news.

It's been well over a year for me. I finally quit taking it when the price raised and the content decreased. It got to the point that we could get more local news out of the Indianapolis paper than the local one.

I don't think news paper are dying.. I am subscribed to a daily news paper and I read it every day in the morning... I think it is better to have a news paper because I can carry it anywhere and read it while traveling.

I read the newspaper almost everyday. No doubt internet is proving to be a big threat to the newspaper. But still, when it comes to reading the news, print is still my first option.

Actually it has been so long time ago that I do not even remember how long time ago it was, so it actually is a dying art in my opinion.
