I just bought this high heeled shoes, about 3 inches tall in a second hand store (ukay ukay). It's not brand new anymore since it's already used by someone. My shoe size is 36 and the shoe fits me but when I walk, OMG it feels like its gonna be out of my feet, I can't walk fast and my sole is sore. I remember I bought a new pair of shoe with heels and the first time I wore it, I had the same feeling but after a week, it went ok. Do you have the same feeling too? I can't afford to buy another one cause I'm planning to use my money for repairing my tooth for the next payroll.
You know what I do guys? I stuff some tissue inside.

hmm i always feel the same with heels too. I even always feel my toes are aching as much as the back of my foot does! there is really something about heels, huh! what i do is that if it is a closed shoes, i would put band aids to prevent corns from developing.
There are some types of shoes/ heeled shoes though that is comfortable to wear. sometimes we just have to find the right shoes for us...

It looks ugly when you have band aid at the back of the foot although it really helps.
We must really pick the shoes that is comfortable to wear.

That's one reason why I just hate anything with heels that go beyond half an inch! I'm never a high-heeled-shoe person, and wearing those kinds of shoes only impede movement. Fashion-wise, they are really beautiful, but when it comes to comfort, or convenience, those shoes just flunk.

If I really don't have to wear it I wouldn't buy that. I hate to soak my feet on flooded ground. I wonder how celebrities can stand on wearing them for long hours, almost everyday.

Maybe they got good shoe quality, since they have expensive shoes.

Don't worry, you are not the only one experiencing that because I did experience that as well. I am just not used to wearing any shoes with heels and whenever I had to, I ended up walking as slow as the snail. I didn't pass through the stage of getting used to it because I prepared myself another pair of no heels shoe and only put on the high heel shoe when I had to.

I'm used to wearing high heels, I remember when I was a kid I wear my older sister's shoes with heels. So growing up I get used to it, but most of the high shoes really hurt our soles. Thank God there is gel pad cushion, I still prefer flat shoes.

I envy you because I think I might not get used to wearing high heel at all. One is because I am quite a heavyweight and second is that I am very particular about the material of the shoes. Thus, I have almost 9 out of 10 pairs of flat shoes because of this.
But I envy people who wears high heel because they look nice and elegant and also, the price of high heel shoes (for my size) when at sale goes rocket bottom but because I don't wear them, I simply missed out of this great deals.
Does gel pad cushion works better than the normal cushion? I tried the normal cushion before but I can't get used to it. Thus, I can only keep on envying others.

I think girls should start practicing high heeled shoes while they where young only at home so they will get used to it when they grow up. I am only 5 feet tall so I really need those heels with flat shoes I look dwarf. I haven't tried regular cushion, with gel cushion I feel like its nothing at all cause it is soft and comfy, you should try it, it feels like you are not wearing at all. I relieve pain.

Hi Lanekins!.
I have a pair high heeled shoes at homes I rarely used because I don't feel comfort to wear it. I feel pain in my finger and its makes you really tired wearing it in long time.
I only wear it when I don't have to walk any were. If I had to walk with its will be nightmare. I usually wear a shoes than has heel just 3cm so its quite comfort to wear.

It is really a nightmare when you wear high heeled shoes and you have to go from a lot places. When I know I have something to do outside, I don't wear my shoes with heels. I wear flat comfortable shoes.

Hi dear,
Buying a foot wear on second hand??
I cannot imagine it.
I never prefer to do so!!
It is so strange to me.
I never tried a send hand foot wear and advising to 'NO' to by at least foot wear. There are several health reasons and many other reasons also.
Also, try the best ones which suits to your feet and can easily walking.
The whole purpose of a foot wear is to walk smoothly, comfortably and nicely.
Some of them may affect your back and would give you problems to your back bone, in the later part of the age.
Please dear, next time don't buy a second hand product, especially for foot wear.
I think I didn't hurt you and sorry, if so.
Regards,
Thank-s

Thanks for you concern, I understand you. I chose to buy that shoe cause I have a little money and I need a high heels shoes for rainy season, I am a fan of flat shoes. I sometimes prefer second hand shoes cause it's branded and it's more durable than cheap brand new shoes. Can't afford to buy something expensive now. My soles are really sore, I get the gel shoe cushion from my other shoes and put it on this shoes that I bought, I get at least relief.

Hi dear,
I think I was little more concerned. Sorry, if I hurt. Some times we may have to do so. I find strage on the second hand foot wear you selected.
But it is upto you and even if you are using the same, please polish well and spray some bactria free perfume before use. Get it dry well and use carefully before goint to use.
Best regards,
Thank-s

hi, if the shoes fits well, there should be no problem, but anyway, i think one gets sore sole, leg, or the like coz one's not used to wearing one,,,
i think you should start with the wedge sandals first before you use those high stiletto heels, since in wedge, you'll have more balance, 'coz of the wide flat base,,, (err, did you get my point)?

I never did like wearing high heels because they always feel very uncomfortable to me and my feet really hurt after wards. My mom can usually last longer in heels because she breaks them in or so she says. Still I think that theirs a plastic pad or something like that, that you can put into your heels to make them more comfy.
Tissue is actually good too if it helps you make it more comfy then keep on doing that.

If only it's not raining I buy flat shoes instead. I hate it when its raining and the water gets through inside. So I decided I need a high heels to protect my feet. Also I can't wear my slacks with flat shoes, so I really have to buy one.
I already put gel cushion pad from my old shoes, it helps relieve half the pain.

Hi laniekins. I have the same problem as you have. Buying a pair of shoes is hard. It almost always ends up hurting your feet. Some people say that the reason why you get hurt, and sometimes get blisters is because the shoes are not an exact fit. It's a little big, that's why the shoes scratches the skin on your ankles.
I don't know if it's true though, haven't been observant enough to prove the theory, but it could be true.
I guess you just have to wear it more often so your feet could get a hang of the shoes.
Whenever I buy shoes that are too high for my feet to bear, I bring along slippers. I only wear the shoes in the office, but while going to work and before going home, I wear slippers. This gives my feet time to rest, and be able to adapt to the shoes without straining my feet :)
hope your "new" shoes work out for you :)

Hello, hello knicnax,
Hmm.. I love your pet name, it makes me hungry. I guess the shoes hurts cause it's not properly fit to our feet and the fact that it is new, so the lining is still hard. My old shoes is like that when I bought it, the first time I use it, my feet hurts too but when I continue using it, and put gel cushion, it became ok. I hope it can be like this too. Happy Mylotting!

Really? You must be vain in shoes and you got a lot of it. Do you have pumps? The heels are like getting higher and the design are overwhelming. Shoes are getting and getting more stylish nowadays. I'd like to try pumps but not the close one, I'm sure it will really hurt my feets, open pumps maybe better.

Hi lanie,
I feel the same way that you do actually.. Last February, I attended my cousin's wedding and I had to wear a 3 inches high heeled shoes..It really is very sleek and cozy, it's up to date in fashion.. But it gave me sore leg muscles and I am not used in wearing high heels..Though I didn't feel my feet soring because it's soles were very comfortable to wear. It has soft lining.. So overall, I think the effect is quite tolerable for me.
My suggestion to you is that, before anything else, you should consider some points before purchasing your footwear. Always evaluate if it will give your feet bad effects or not, and if the shoes feels comfortable for you to wear for hours. Granted that you tried it on in the store, you should have tried to feel for yourself if you could tolerate wearing them for hours.
In that case, you won't be left thinking you shouldn't have purchased it anyway..

I've tried it before picking this shoes, I've walked for a while and I thought its ok. You can never really know if the shoes is ok unless you use it for hours. I should have pick the other one. Anyway, thanks there is shoe gel cushion I put, I got from my old shoe. I really should pick someone with soft and comfortable to use. Next time! thanks!
