I have Read about this controversy in the Novel "DA VINCI CODE"....The Da Vinci Code says that Leonardo’s supposedly well-documented homosexuality contributed to his enlightened perspectives on the need for balance between male and female characteristics....Many theory claims, Leonardo was Homosexual and He has painted female version of Himself...and why he did not mentioned about his painting? Please Reply ***************************************************************** This is out of topic... ...Now see this pic! it is my painting.... http://www.mylot.com/w/image/2385418.aspx

Thank you friend, for bringing entirely different discussions here. You make our life interesting here, with non stereo type questions. Well, I am not aware of DA VINCI CODE. And I don't like to get into the discussion of whether Leonardo was a homosexual or not. But I bet, that should be a woman's photo. Because the art is known for its mysterious smile. Who else can deliver a mysterious smile like that? It is cent percent possible for a woman alone!.

I dont want to know, what would be beneath under his/her dress....but I am more curious about why did he creat this type of painting? and if there is any secret message in painting...why we are unable to solve?

Last time I checked the person in the Monalisa painting is a woman. But I don't know. I think you have a point there. Anyhow I still think Monalisa is one of the best work of art out there.

As you said, "The Da Vinci Code" thought Monalisa is the FEMALE version of Leonardo Da Vinci. So no doubt, Monalisa is a girl/woman. It's none of whether Da Vinci was homosexual or not.

Crazy, I had the folly of reading that silly code but I don't recall any allusion to Da Vinci being homosexual. If at all, the painter is an artistic genius and let's enjoy the tricks he embedded in his paintings. For those who say otherwise, they are defeatist. They couldn't come up with a Da Vinci masterpiece. Now, with that Megan version of Monalisa.... ! You literally got me LOL!

that's even better than the real monalisa. maybe a better person should have been there.

This is the hotter version of Mona Lisa. But I think Mona Lisa is actually an image of the painter himself.

both, Leonardo painted himself as a woman, but using a real woman as a model, it does not tell any secret, but he used to do this to hide some secrets. if he was a homosexual, a lot of famous people in history are, and if he was one of the secret organization like people say he was, the do it as a ritual for their "gods"
