'Junk' food ads

Now it appears they will ban ads for 'junk food' during shows for kids. This is just further draconian legislation on this supposed obsesity problem. Why can't they just butt out and give kids the choice? If health food was popular with kids, you'd see ads for it aimed at them.

kids should instead be taught how to choose wisely. its not that they shouldn't have any junk food at all, but if they never learn to eat healthily, what chance do they have?
