"Practise makes things perfect". That is the saying, and that is perfectly fitting for plaing musical instruments, I would say. Even people who already have learned playing a musical instrument, can improve their skills by playing more more often, and that is "practising", whether string instruments like guiter, or other instruments like piano.

first of all, every one wether they have talent or not need to practice first. then, how they can expand their music is depend on their talent. there are a lot of people who practice hard but cant create songs, and all that they can do are just try to be some one else. but one with talent can create something new and will be the master of music.

I think it depends on the person. practice is REALLY good but talent just comes naturally. When i first started playing the drums i fell in love. I never wanted to stop playing them. for 2 years i played everyday almost any chance i could to get. And now after almost 4 years i can play music i never thought i could play. Most drummers i ask say they been playing for 8 years or more and are amazed when i tell them i been playing for 4. Also i picked up guitar piano and the violin very fast i think its just what im good at..... music. But everyone can get to that point its just the drive for it and how much you want it. I treat music as the most important thing in my life besides family and friends cause it helped me so much if you treat music like that your going to get better. Usually what helps me get better is find someone who plays the same instrument and learn from them but also look at them as a challenge as someone who you want to get better than.

talent make people get easier to practice. i look many musician was born from musician too. that's mean gen has big effect for musician. but all of master music is always do practice routin. just talent is not enough for being a master of every job

I feel that there are people who can learn to play and sing, and in those cases it's mostly practice. But then there are people who are a natural and can sing beautifully without training, or can teach themselves to play flawlessly, as well as have an inborn ability to create music, and in my opinion that is talent.

it needs practice and interest i guess... playing music is a skill... one must practice in order to master the skill. :) singing is talent... talent is something that a person has been born with.
