Yeah, it's a phishing scam... either they are trying to get your liberty reserve login details or trying to plant a keylogger on your system to harvest data from your online banking, paypal, ebay accounts or whatever. Never, EVER open the link in one of those emails... too dangerous. If you want to find out information about online scams visit http://snopes.com and do a search.

I dun think our online payment accounts can be blocked that easily.. If there's any attempt to access our account and failed, the respective processor admin will be sending us an email to tell us about it, while not blocking it.. For your case, u din even have an account with liberty reserve, and thus it's a scam, in the hope of luring u to leak out your details, as majority of ple, tend to use the same name and password for all their sites.. haha

It sounds like what is called a "phishing" scam, where what they are trying to get is your personal information. Some people would carelessly think "Wow, my account!" and without a second thought give the information that they ask for. Secure sites will tell you, usually, that they only send you emails at an address that you have specified they contact you through, and there will ALWAYS be your user name in the email. So it seems to me all you need to do with this is delete the email and ignore it. :)

i noticed that too in the email, nothing shows my username or email adress.. even the send to section shows blocks@libertyreserve.com maybe it would have been believable if it shows my email adress right|?

I would not contact the telephone number and or email from the email you received today, as it may be a scam and you will now give the access to yet even more information. Go directly to the Liberty site and either call that number and or email support immediately and provide them the screen shot they will immediately tell you if it is a scam or not. Good Luck to you with this.
