I also thought it sounded weird too. But almost everybody is starting to use it. I am not sure exactly how it works. All i know is that you use it for video conferencing. I want to know if the video is more smooth or something cause it must be a reason for that switch.

Yes it is another conferencing tool and why lots are using this and ditching other, Publicity that is why. Not completely different about it other than it is what people do after hearing and or reading so many are.

I have never heard of ooVoo..before.
Is it only available in certain areas? I myself would rather use the Yahoo messenger. But that is just me and my opinion I know a lot who don't have yahoo or msn. But every time something new comes out everyone seems to bounce over to try it out or check it out. Maybe it will be useful for those that don't have yahoo messenger or msn installed. Like the hospital and libraries don't have them installed.
makes it harder for people to keep in contact with family and give updates unless they use the social sites..

renhard hi whoo doo the voo doo that you doo so well. okay just had to do that. I have no idea what oovoo is or why and know something I do not even care. I used to go to chat rooms and got really disgusted at some of the things said and done so back to mylot. chat rooms are great if they have a monitor to stop some of the idiots from doing stupid things.
