Just home from a family visit.......

and it was so nice. If you haven't seen the pics on FB or heard me go on about the birth my first greatgrandchild then maybe you aren't aware........I'm a great granma! Yep. August, 9, 2010 my granddaughter gave birth to her first little son, Owen William Johnson. Lastnight she called me and wanted to come over and visit with the little guy and her husband, Adam. We had a nice visit. Then today my daughter came over and I showed her my updated pics online on FB. We called my granddaughter and went over to visit. Owen was awake. This is the first time I have seen him with his eyes open. She gave him a bath and I helped her. My daughter(grandma) is alittle nervous so she didn't hold him much but I sure did. Just couldn't get enough of him. Then my ex came over to visit as well. He has been very active in her life and helped her quite a bit when she was getting out on her own. It was such a nice visit and we told funny stories and such. Have you had such a nice family get together lately? Was it a good experience? Are you happy for your family and how they are doing? I sure am! She just beams from ear to ear and is such a good mother! It is so nice to see. How about you?
