My last blood workup showed signs of heart failure so my doctor has ordered a nuclear stress test. Since I live in the boonies, I have to travel to Bend for this test and stay in a motel for two nights. The fun part is paying for it. I mean, like, I'm on disability but Medicaid won't pay for the trip to get this test done, much less the motel. To top it all off, my daughter has to work the two days I'm scheduled for this test so my sister is going to have to come with. I don't want to make a road trip alone! Well, my sister and I have not shared a bed since my mother died in 1989 and that was a nightmare with her nudging me all night complaining about my snoring. The room I have booked only has one bed and I can't really afford the extra ten dollars per night for two beds. Oh, sigh! I really need to do this, though, before I can go get my other knee replaced. I've been stressing trying to put together enough money for the trip...just the gas and room alone are going to kill my budget for the next three months. I've had to borrow from my daughter and still need another fifty dollars to comfortably make this trip. I've got half a mind to cancel and reschedule! Think I should?
