Friendsm today is Sunday; we have a weekly market here.
I usually go and buy vegetables mainly.
Today I saw an untimely fruit; we call it ‘badhel’ in Oriya and ‘Sitaphal’ in Hindi. This is usually available in October, but nature seems to have changed.
Do you have this fruit with white flesh and black seed in it? It is so sweet and yummy.
How do you call it? During which months you get? Which fruits you eat?

We call it Sitaphal. It is available all the time in Bangalore. I love to eat it. Though removing the seeds is a boring job, still it is worth eating it. But it contains too much glucose and not advisable for sugar patients.

This is a fruit that I am not familiar with. However, I do really like to eat as much fresh produce as is possible during the spring and summer months. We do a lot of strawberries and even make an effort to mae an annual outing to a local strawberry patch and pick those ourselves. We also like to eat all of the other berries and apples as well. It will only be a few more weeks before it will be time to go apple picking and I am really looking forward to that.

we call that fruit atis. it has lots of seeds inside but the pulp if sweet and very nice to the taste. i dont see it very much here. the fruits that are abundant here are durian, mangosteen, and marang. lanzones is starting too. usually in our place the month of august is the best from fruit harvest and since it is season, the price are low and you get to have the best. i have attached a picture of mangosteen. tell me if you also have it there.
have a nice day.
