How many of you are going to dress up as vampires for Halloween? My grand daughter and daughter usually either dress up as a witch or a vampire. I used to always dress up as a gypsy. My mom always had a lot of jewelry and that was my excuse to get into it. You?

I haven't dressed up in forever. I have been wanting to dress up like a geisha for a couple of years now. Something where no one would even recognize me..lol...it's fun to dress up..maybe this year I will.

I can remember doing that when I was real young. And used my broomstick for my horse. Oh ya!

I love halloween. it's a big deal in our house, and people come from several villages around to see our house. we decorate everything, carve at least four pumpkins, usually more. often home grown. we make lots of amazing food, we make up goodie bags of sweets and plastic spiders and bats and skeletons and so on. we have spooky sounds playing, strange lights. and I get to wear my wedding dress again. I'm not spending that much on a dress and now wearing it again. :D

We usually did something different every year. My Mom could really sew and some years we had $ at Halloween and there were some neat costumes. I liked the Queen of the Nile outfit the best of the ones I've had. My husband's family had less money and they were more likely to dress the same type of costume each year. My husband was a hobo. His sister a balerina. Gypsy sounds cool. If I could do make-up and get slimmer, I'd like to do Goth some year.
