It seems like this is the time of year when I end up trying a new flavor. Last year, I think it was pumpkin. So what new flavors have you had?

ooo, that stuff is so good! actually, I won't eat ice cream if it has nuts, I really don't like nuts. so, I don't try too many ice cream because so many people seem to think it needs nuts...

I had some soft maple ice cream at a soft ice cream place. First time I had it without nuts. Even with a twist of vanilla, it was wicked sweet. Nuts help to obsorb the sweetness in some of these.

you see, nuts to me are just bitter and I can taste bitter far too well reminds me of the time Maggiepie tried to convince me to taste this "sweet" grapefruit juice I tasted it, but it was still grapefruit juice and I don't LIKE grapefruit juice I ate and drank it as a child until the day I said to myself - why am I eating this? I don't even LIKE the stuff!

I like sour. Grapefruit, lemon, etc. Nuts that have gone by are rancid. That I don't like. But frsh nuts, I do like the taste of. Bitter was mostly old lettuce in our garden and my Mom would put sugar on bitter gone by lettuce that I didn't like.

I need to check that flavor out. It sounds just beyond yummy. I haven't tried any new flavors of ice cream lately. Have been away from ice cream all summer. Just need to watch all the sugar and carbs.

Yeah, and some of the diabetic stuff can give some people the runs as far as candy goes.

It is very good. I watch sugar and carbs go in my mouth. Seriously, I need to get on a diet so I can fit into some of my clothes. Thanks and take care.

I have had pumpkin, and egg nog. I have tried some versions of pomegranate, for instance, I have pomegranate sherbet in my freezer. Our regional dairy store has featured on trial basis various "cheese cake" flavored ice creams.

At hard scoup places, I've had blueberry and raspberry cheese cake. I still want to find and try egg nog ice cream, haven't had it yet! Pomegranates must be an aquired taste, I have had the juice and the fruit, does nothing for me, so I won't be seeking out the ice cream and I'm avoiding the Greek Yogurt that has that in.

I grew up with cream sodas. Loved them. They just don't make cream soda like they did when I was a kid, though.

You could try a scoup of mint and vanilla or whatever you want to cut the taste with just in case. Minty with chocolate chunks seems just right be me, but you and I are not the same people.
