If you do some research on astrology you will find that it is not science at all. If astrology was a science then they would be able to accurately foretell the future. But when you read their predictions, very few ever come true. No more than a good guess.

Sometimes this problem takes place because you dont know time of your birthday, i mean hour and minute. It is very important information for making prediction.

Astrology is both an art and a science, but it is not a science in the strict academic sense, much as psychology is not science in that sense either, or philosophy. Astrology can most certainly predict future trends, however, that is only its most spectacular aspect, the reason why people who have not studied astrology always seem to think it merely is about predicting the future. In fact, it is as much about re-interpreting your past than it is about your future:-)

Astrology is an amazing field of study. I have consulted with astrologers, western and eastern, and it is really interesting how they can see the life paths, careers, prosperity, health, family, education, and so on. It is a very systematic and methodical study. It is so amazing how the planets millions of miles away can influence the lives of human beings here on earth.

I agree. Astrology is an exquisite language. And compared to other philosophical systems, astrology is rather complete or it deals with the full range of problems or situations anybody is likely to face in life.

I think it's a great science which has been, like all things, misused. I think it will be stronger in the future (esp after neptune enters pisces in 2011) but separated from God the creator, it will fail in many ways as anything divorced from God/Life can only fail and expire..

i read astrology stuff for entertainment's sake....i don't take it too seriously. i just think it's not that accurate and reliable...but for fun's sake, i'll always read it from time to time if i ever come across to an article on it..... i think generally, life really shouldn't be taken wayyy too seriously. but we should be serious enough.

Well, I know astrology is more acceptable now than in the past. Among astrology enthusiasts and astrologers, this increasing popularity is being referred to as the Age of Aquarius. Anyway, having studied/read a lot of astrology books, I have come to be proficient in speaking the language of astrology. To those who find this strange, the language of astrology allows us to talk about hidden or unseen forces in the universe. Once we do, it is much easier to deal with even the most challenging of problems. I think it is easier to accept astrology if you think of it as a philosophy rather than anything else. This is understandable if you think about the end result of any chart reading in astrology--and that is clarity. This means that astrology is tool to make sense of what is happening in our own lives.
