Hair Rebonding

Who has tried hair rebond in the parlor or hair salon? I know it is enough to wear your natural hair. But to those who need hair repair, they like solutions for their hair. This is what a hairdresser recommends instead of hair treatments like hair relax or hair cellophane.. etc. Is it really good or okay to have it or are they just telling this just for the customers? Would you buy it?

I had my hair rebond twice cause I have a bad hair that cannot fix by just treatment. At firs few months it looks nice but since I did it twice, my hair got thinner and thinner. I will just do a hair reborn next time, I will stop hair rebond, I would like to give my hair a break from hair rebond.

So you recommend hair rebonding only just once? If the person has thin hair, you don't recommend it to them at all. It's because it has a thinning effect right? Is that what you suppose to say? So what is hair reborn? Is this another kind of treatment? Maybe it will cause hair thinning again?

It depends if you really like to have your hair rebond, maybe you can do it at the best hair salon. It will makes you hair thin cause you will have falling hair because of the chemicals. Hair reborn is the recommended for dry, dull hair. It will reborn your hair and will make it beautiful, it is a good treatment and no bad effects on hair. You should ask the salon on what treatment needs your hair.

I don't have a hair salon that I can trust since I really don't know them here. Do you have one hairdresser for your hair? I don't know what to think about their advices because some hairdressers just talk the talk to get and encourage customers... Some just want their customers money. My hair is thinning and I suffer from hair fall. I think I would not go into other treatments not. I am afraid that my hair will look more dry and dull in the future leaving me to baldness.

My hair became curly and damage. So I went to a salon ask the hair consultant for an advise to make my hair back from straight manageable again. Obviously she suggest me to have hair rebond. The salon promised that hair rebonding would have straight and manageable hair after the treatment. She added that it will last a year after the next treatment. I tried hair rebond and bad thing the salon did not make it good. So I went back to complain about 2500++ hair treatment with no effect. They promise to do the treatment after months (because the solution should subside first before the next treatment) and gave she me notice that I will have a free treatment on a certain month. The day has come and had my treatment again. Well its fair enough that they accomplished the free treatment and I'm already satisfied with their work. But then I experienced hair fall after the 2 treatments of hair rebond. After 8 months my hair was like I haven't had my treatment. :( So now I visit a salon near my work for a new treatment, good thing I decided to try a new salon. now my hair is good and I'm loving my new salon.

wow! you spent that big for your hair? I wouldn't spend that much though. But thank you for sharing your experience. You are saying that it depends on the hair salon or maybe the product they use on your hair and how effectively they do the procedure? The issue now is how could we know how to choose the right hair salon? Do you have any more experience to share. =p

I haven't tried rebonding.I don't see the necessity for my hair.I have straight, fine hair, and I hate it.while some girls would love to have straight hair,I would love to have my hair curled.I recently had my hair dyed to brown;I love it! I plan to have my hair cut a few inches, then permed into with big waves.

Wow! You really have gorgeous hair then! Many people like it straight and fine like yours... Because it is simple, clean and neat. Some people are tired of their curly wavy hairs. People tend to seek new looks for themselves because we are so concerned of our looks. If I say people then, it includes everyone. Self esteem is a very important need...

Hi, I have been rebonding my hair once a year. I love this hair style...my hair looks straight and easy to manage. But it is best to have hair treatment once a month,to make sure your hair is in good conidtion and no end split. Especially for those people have thick hair, rebonding is the best method to make their hair look better.

I have tried hair rebonding, and it's good for me. I like the way my hair looks especially when it's long. It feels much softer than before, but i have to take extra care for it to last longer than the usual 3 months. Alot depends on how we do it, and which salon we go to. We pay for quality. DO try it because it's really nice. IF u are lucky, that one time of rebonding might be able to last u forever, if u know how to protect it well, making your money worth spending on it.

Don't dare or you might regret. At first hair rebonding would look nice on those who have tried it. However, as you continue to rebond your hair when needed (say, after 6 months or so), your hair strands get brittle till you end up with a damage hair. Our boss goes to a very popular and expensive parlor and for years she's underwest hair rebonding. Now her hair looks dull and damaged. She was advised not to do any rebonding for now. Be contented with the kind of hair you have. Curly hairstyle is the fad now.

Yeah, curly hair is the fad now. I know many straight haired people who have curlers and use them all the time! We should at least have the proper knowledge on this hair treatments before entering the hair salon. So we won't be tricked on this hairdressers, right?

i have had my hair treatments done before - i had my hair treated for rebonding and i swear i feel that my hair was better for a few weeks, after sometime i notice though that i have these frizzy hair at the back of my neck and they are super coarse! i think this was due to the treatment done and it sort of destroyed my hair... and well to add to that, i have had experiences of hair loss... =(

Not yet but i'm really planning to go try it this week. They recommend it especially for colored hair. Few months ago i tried hair relax and it was ok but i'm curious if hair rebonding is almost the same as relaxing. Both treatments as they said many times to me is good for people with frizzy hair.
