how do you know if some one is a friend or a foe?

May I give you a little advice and I am no expert, trust me I am not. I have troubles in this field also, but I have a neat trick to finding out if a person as solidity. If you hang with a group of friend and there is a newby added to the mix. Tell someone that you are ready familiar with (very close-tight) what you are going to do before you put this into action. Tell the newby (new person) a blatant lie either about you or someone else in the group and make it juicy enough to where you'd want to tell it yourself and then step back and watch. Lies spread like wild fires it not contained it'll just keep spreading, right? Then you'll know if this person is someone you'll want to have in your life. Remember loose lips sink ships, are you ready to abandon your own ship?

A tricklish question indeed. As you have rightly said that it is hard trust people in the first instances. Unless we know their true nature we cannot believe or trust any body now days.People have grown to be very wicked.The old saying goes as " a friend in need is a friend indeed"Is it true even today?. I don't think so.We have read in books or told by our grand mothers as how real friendship saved lives of each other.They remain stories only as I think.People become friends under various situations and for various reasons.It is stated that real friendship grows like evening shadow while bad friendship diminishes like morning shadow.What ever it may be we should exercise abundent caution before developing friendship and trusting them. Is said" show me your friend and I shall tell your character.We should also study his friends before we develop friendship with him.

I also think the same that its so hard to trust anyone nowadays.But yes if really there is no option left except to trust a person one must be careful in dealing with him or her.One must keep presense of mind and must always observe the mentality and activities of a person closely.I and my hubby both are very introvert and so we enjoy in our own world of happiness.Although we give lots of regards and we entertain all our family members and relatives at our place but as far as friends are concerned we keep few freinds only because nowadays there is so much jealousy and hatred prevailing in everyone that its better to lead your life peacefully rather than making huge friends list which is full of cunning and shrewd people.
