today i got an email from Virtual World Direct E-Lottery saying i won two million five hundred thousand pounds! wow, that's a lot of money. this is why i never believed in it in the first place. it was asking me to send my contact information to some clearance officer. the officer's name, address and phone number were provided. so i googled the address and i found out that there are several people who got the same email i received. only the amount and the clearance officer's name are different. i was thinking what if the amount i supposedly won was lesser would i fell for it? i guess not but what if it was another person who joins lotteries? afterall the email was only asking for a contact info. what do think? do you think some people will be lured into this?

Virtual World Direct is a real company, but there are people who are claiming to be from that company. The real company is a lottery company and you buy a subscription to their lottery games after you register for their site. The one you mention is, in fact, a scam. I recall getting an email like that years ago, and the real company sent out emails to members indicating that this was a scam going around, someone pretending to be them. So don't waste your time with it, just find the real company.
