This is a st0ry about a mother who had a missing son, Weeks later, the LAPD returned a stranger to her, telling everyone it was her son to avoid public disgrace. She fought for the truth against the power of the police having her end up in a mental ward.

That sounds as if it would be a very suspenseful story, and even more so because it is based on truth. It is harder to make a coverup now, since DNA testing has been developed and is in regular use. Thanks for the quick review.

yeah. i agree. though she didn't find her son at the end, it was still full of hope. good ending still..

I saw it on TV and found it moving but it also made me very angry. The movie shows one true story but I´m sure there are lots of true stories without happy endings of any kind
