Does everyone tell that you seem younger or older than you really are? Are you frequently asked to show your ID to prove your age? For some people, this is a blessing. But for other people, it's a headache.people that you meet in the mall or old friends can tell how you look before and now. what i believe more are those from people that i seldom see and i kinda receive some comments about how i look. i sometime take those responses as compliment and silent insults. well here are some tips for all of us who worry about our looks versus age: Be confident. Nothing communicates maturity like confidence. Even if your physical appearance, unique personality, or social skills aren't what you wish they were, that doesn't have to stop you from building self confidence.Dress appropriately. Unfortunately, people make snap judgments about who you are based on what you wear. * Stay tuned to trends that suit your age or the age you want to look. * Stay away from pastels such as bubblegum pink, light blue, sea green etc. * Learn how to accessorize your outfits. * Women should learn how to [[Walk in High Heels|walk in heels] * Men should avoid baseball caps and baggy jeans. what's your side?

I never really looked my age to say the least. I think that I have both looked younger than I am and older that I am a lot of the time. I think that I have been mistaken for being a bit older, when my hair is a bit longer. For some reason, when my hair is long, I have this huge bald spot in the middle of my head. It is really something that is weird but it is extremely true. Then when I cut my hair, I look a bit younger. I think that I really need to just avoid going around with long hair. I look like one of those embarrassing middle age men who try and be hip and cool, and come across as less so. That is not a look that I want to go through. So there are times where I feel like I get mistaken as older and others as a bit younger. I guess it depends on the day.

I looks a bit older than my real age because i have white hairs from very early age and its in our family genes that hairs of young boys start getting white in their teenage. Now i have larger visible white hairs on my head and my real age is about 26 years but peoples around me say that i looks like a 30 to 35 years of age but this never given me any complex thanks GOD my mind is out of silly complexes.

i have known someone who has white hairs since grade 1. it tuns in his family. Generally, if more melanin is present, the color of the hair is darker; if less melanin is present, the hair is lighter. Levels of melanin can vary over time causing a person's hair color to change, and it is possible to have hair follicles of more than one color.Grey or white hair is not actually a true grey or white pigment. In fact, it is clear due to lack of pigmentation and melanin. well, as long as you're staying fit and healthy, i guess having white hairs should not be a great burden to you.

Well, earlier a few years ago, I was very thin then and people would say that I am a bit younger than my age as I used to eat a lot less. But over the years, I have started eating more but not excess and I now look perfect for my age. This infact is a confidence builder!!

Well i am glad that people compliment me sometimes. They say that i look like a small kid because i am short and look chubby. I like that sometimes but i hate it when anyone tries to pull my cheeks. That really hurts me and i am not a kid anymore. Cheers!

people just pull cheeks when they really find you that cute. if they register you as that hot looking they whistle. they just pray that girls especially won't be offended by doing so. well, height doesn't matter. it will also make one younger than their age.

you should consider yourself lucky for that. receiving comments that seem to make us happy will make us inspired too especially when it comes to physical being. when in fact when you have a hairstyle that will make you look younger can make you feel good for the day. staying to look young is anyone's secret and it also boosts self confidence. stay looking young and healthy guys.

i can't believe it. you look like my aunt and she's just 35 now. she also has long hair and your skin complexion is just the same. i wonder what your secret is madam. how i wish i could look like that when i reach your age. i know that it's not that easy to maintain one's looks especially when we have rarely the same lifestyle from food to habits.

I don't know, I don't smoke and I don't put a lot of junk on my face. But I'm 52 now and my age is showing a bit more too.

I will dress how I feel. How I dress is what makes me comfortable. People will judge you when you dress up or dress down anyway, besides you cannot please everybody. Some people will still make comments on it, so I will just follow how I feel I look young for a 33 year old. I do not wear make ups, I do not wear heels as I do not know how to walk with it. So why will I force myself for wearing such if I wont be able to walk properly with it? I will not please people. I will please myself!

I've been mistaken for someone younger. And I think the way you dress and handle yourself really does the trick in making yourself look mature or adult-like. Knowing when to use accessories and clothes could also keep people from mistakenly identifying us as someone older or younger than we actually are.

you are right about how to mix and match our accessories and dress could make some people younger or mature. but sometimes to people who have lack knowledge of fashion like me, it is kind of difficult.

whether they see me younger or older i feel flattered. because when they see me younger they said it's because of how i look and how i dress. but when they see me older they pertain to how i act and how i possess myself. so it's true that it's really a matter of how you carry yourself in front of other people.

I have had many people tell me I look and act younger than my actual age. Basically, I just try to stay out of the sun. The sun can add to aging your skin. I see to many people who are in the sun alot have their skin look leathery when they get older. If you do go out in the sun, use a sunscreen to protect your skin. My mom has always looked young for her age. It is a gene thing also.
