my dad is a good cook,
my mother is a good cook,
my brother is a well cook,
my sister-in-law is a well cook,
my sister is a well cook,
my brother-in-law is a well cook,
even my brother's 2years son is also trying to do help in cooking to my mother....hahaahah
in my family we all are know very well cooking. We are special for various items of curries and foods, my father cooks non-veg very tasty, my mother is well known for all types of foods, my sister is the number one than all in my family, because she is expert in cooking, whenever i have holidays i immediately went to my sister's home and i started the work of eating....especially sweet and hot items. Recently my sister invented some new types of cooking...
If i frequently eat my sister's hand foods for one month, i'll become fully healthy and fit....

I think it is his job to taste test and to eat what everyone else is cooking. It is a rough job, but someone has to do it.

Ladies I gathered form his happy posting about all being able to cook that he is a very happy camper. 
Yum, I would not ever mind being a tester for any great cook any day. 
, it is like the old phrase be a lover not a fighter, and if someone else can cook for me I am a lover all the way.

I wish that everyone in my family cooked well. Only my grandmother and my aunt cook well. Everyone else stinks at cooking.

My mother is a brilliant cook and so is my sister. As for me, I hate cooking so it’s difficult to know whether I am good at it because I don’t do it very much! I do cook for my family of course but I stick to plain meals most days. Whenever I make an attempt to duplicate any of my mother’s meals they turn out nothing like it! I prefer eating to cooking!

I love to eat and I appreciate beautiful cooking. I love Italian food, I am not into dishes which are too spicy and I prefer savoury to sweet usually, depends on the mood...

Wow rameshchow your family is very self sufficient in the kitchen. You have the best of all their cooking worlds.
All this wonderful cooking, I suppose makes for a great family gathering. I know you are not complaining as you get to be a tester.

For good, that the men in your family are so self sufficient. I understand customs where it is the wife responsibility. But when a need arises, nice to know that the men can function and carry the family on.

It is great that you are surrounded by people who cook well. Do you cook well? In my family, I am possibly the only one who cooks well. My dad burns anything he tries to cook, even eggs. My mom makes weird things - she did not grow up cooking. My siblings don't care. They just put a bunch of junk together and hope it tastes good. I have made many dishes for dinner and my family really enjoyed it. I think it would be fun if more people in my family liked cooking and experimenting.

So with all those good cooks, does the kitchen get very crowded, or do they take their turns? Who cleans up after the cooks? Most everyone here likes to cook as well, but it seems that I am the one who has to do the dishes. Do you cook any specialties?

my dad is daily argue with my mother, "you are cook well, i will show how it is when i cook?" like wise my dad talks.....although my mother can do very tasty...
When my sister comes to my home, those few days my sister is the head, my dad should be calm at that time........hahhahah

That's great! All in a family. I feel you don't need to go out for eating some nice food which we usually do. Get any recipe from them and put it here for discussion as I love to experiment different style of cooking.

good cooks in your family. all you have to do is sit back
and eat. glad your sister cooks healthy food, good for her.My dad never cooked in all the yeaRs I knew him and my mom was a pretty good cook, and so am I but I was lucky when I married as my husband was a cook by profession and an excellent cook who just loved to cook, and anything he made was super delicious too.By hand foods I take it you mean fruits and veggie type foods and maybe some great homemade bread, muffins and things like that.

That's great that you have so many good cooks in your family. I have specialties that I'm good at such as cooking macaroni and cheese, chili, and meat loaf. My sisters are good cooks themselves.
