You ever imagine to be the child of a president. If you are a child's president. You will be delighted or disturbed by the rules that must be endured. Maybe I will feel annoyed, because wherever I go will be followed by a bodyguard. How about you?

it is not only annoying, but it is hard to keep image of 'the child of a president'. if you just going clubbing then the media and public will give you a bad image.

Is will be very hard to live like thats.

I wouldn't like to be a president's child. For sure, it has lots of benefits, but with those benefits comes a big responsibility and loss of freedom. The eyes of the people are focused not just to the president, but with his family as well...the judging eye of the president's detractors will be vigilant with every mistake that I can make, his supporter will expect too much from me too, and his enemies will find ways to harm his family. I am a simple person and I don't want to be in limelight too much, not especially from the light and fame of my parents. If I am the president's daughter, it will be hard to know if I am being looked upon or being commended for a job well done base on my own abilities, in one way or the other, my parent's position will influence every step may it be for a positive or negative effect. and I will never want such life...

I like to be an ordinary citizen. I get to do anything and go anywhere without being noticed and guarded. Though living in a presidential palace with all the servants to serve you but you lost your privacy. That is one thing that I would not trade with anything in this world. I treasure my private life.

indahfth I would not like it at all, being in the spotlight always, ' anything I did would hit the papers and secure service men would be tailing me all the time. Being a child should be carefree times but being the daughter of a president would be like living in public all the time. I would hate not having any privacy at all.

Hi indahfth~ I think that any child who's parent is the president of their country would be very proud and would have to understand that they have to follow the rules in order to keep them safe. Our President Obama has two sweet young girls who he protects most of the time from the media and only lets them be photographed on occasion. The lead as "normal" a life as they can possibly lead being the daughters of our President. I think that the younger the child, the easier it is and the less annoyed that they would be. We have had other Presidents that had grownup children who were annoyed and did give their parents a difficult time because they weren't happy growing up and being in the spotlight and having to have bodyguards when going on dates!lol

Yes. It is a pride, if it has the father of a president. But there is a bigresponsibility to be borne. Ie maintain a good reputation, comply with regulations, and must limit the space.

I would think that it would be a difficult life to be the child of a president. This would be true of any country ine world. The children of a president or any political figures are always on display in the public eye. You never know a private life. There is always a security threat hanging over your head because of who you are. Politicians have the choice of living publicly or privately when they campaign for office. Their children do not have the choice. They are born into a world they did not choose. Some children of presidents come out of the limelight still shining. they have overcome the challenge and perservered. These children are to be commended for the way they have lived their lives.

I've seen movies with this topic like 'Chasing Liberty' and 'The First Daughter' Both of them about presidents' kids trying to get some freedom. It might be a perk to live in a palace but i'm sure it has its cons, like the loss of freedom.

I also saw that movie. Being the kids of a president, always losing freedom, and whose movement is limited. Maybe the friends should also be restricted, and make them feel uncomfortable.

Yes, you are correct. Each family of the president who made a mistake, it will be an opportunity for the enemy denouncing the president. Besides the security became threatened. Many of the risk to be borne.

I would also be annoyed taking my privacy from me. I want to be a free person. Free to do what I want. No one following and watching my every move. One mistake would lead to a big issue! I don't want this kind of life. I prefer to be my old self if I am to become a daughter of a president.

Yes, a mistake that we do, would be a major problem. We become always thought hard, if you want to do something, and maybe we can become someone else because of this. It would be made miserable, because we should not make mistakes.

becoming the President's child have lots of pros and cons. There would be benefits for sure and you'd be treated nicely and with respect by the whole country. It really just pays too much because your life will be public, you'll also be around threats and would always have security beside you. people will also expect that you'll carry great responsibilities being a president's child. So, i don't think i'd like to be in this situation, but if i were i'll try to do my best and not live up on other peoples expectation.

I won't like it. Yes i could be the coolest kid in town but that feeling is lonely. People have great expectations from you, you'll feel as if everyone is watching you that you'll feel you don't have privacy anymore. You can't just walk anywhere without body guards. To me it's just like a prison made of gold.

Yes you are right, we become not have privacy anymore. Everything we do will become everyone's attention. And we must be accompanied by bodyguards wherever we go. And your words about a prison made from gold is appropriate.

It wouldn't bother me if I were a president child. I know my parents (in this case the president and his wife) might be busy all the time and only have a little time for me and the body guards follow me all around but that's okay. I'll make all the things useful. When no one of my family beside me, I can do my hobbies or investigate some problems in the country. When the bodyguards near me, I think I'll stay where bad things (like bullying, gambling, etc) happened so the bad things will stopped. And I'll remind the president to take care of the country. I'll watch him so he wouldn't corrupt.

If chosen as the president's daughter or daughter of a normal person, I will choose a president's daughter. Because why? I will have better conditions, I'll be going all over the world, eat the food I like, play the sport I love, spoiled shopping...That is great! Have you ever imaged to be a president?
